eBay purchase, very bad experience

Purchase on eBay, very bad experience with the guy in charge there (Donovan)!
Thiefty postage charges on multiple items , the guy blocked me because I wasn’t going to accept very high postage cost invoice ; if you guys want your clients back & happy get this guy out from there , he cannot do much , he just copy paste messages 5-7 times without any knowledge on how to look after regular buyers ; you got something personal with someone that put you badly in your place and you just take advantage of your position…you’re not doing a favour to the company you work for ! Of course avoid at all cost , because company doesnt deal with any complaints !!’

Not a fan of Stuff U Sell, this company's MO feels amiss

This company gives off vibes of being much more self-interested than client-interested. And is not transparent enough.
This is a heads up to think twice before using their ebay-selling services.
When you inquire about selling an item, they can't reply fast enough. But when your item does sell they go silent and will not respond to email requests about the money owed.

They are owned by a trader called Cantalis Ltd, and phone contact details are on their dot com website of their name.
0800 046 1100
When you phone Cantalis, a receptionist refuses to connect you with anyone by phone, saying repeatedly, 'We are an internet only company and we only communicate by email'.
When you explain that no one replies to the emails, therefore you need to speak to someone by phone, it is repeated, 'We are an internet only company etc etc'

After being quite persistent (and doubtless annoying) I was quoted a commission that wasn't actually stated in the T&Cs , which i pointed out, and their director responded by email, very politely saying that detail had been an error in the last email.
He clarified their Ts&Cs re payments (which are buried on the website and should be made explicit before accepting an item to sell).
The commission terms and payment timescales wildly favour SuS over clients. Heigh ho.

Also, be warned, they still use cheques which won't suit many people. Though i think a bank transfer can be made if you insist on it.
Check the Ts&Cs carefully before sending anything -- it might be easier and more worthwhile to take the time to sell the item yourself.
I wish i'd taken half an hour to do that...

The manager also explained that the pandemic was causing them to use an external phone answering service, but we're 18 months into the pandemic and it's clearly a policy of choice to not take phone calls from clients.

Agree with the 1 star review that was already here.

Anyway, that's just the vibe i got, maybe other customers love the service and MO.

Sellers be warned

Sellers be warned: this company will aggressively mark your items down to sell them, charging you hefty fees (P&P, relisting, admin, etc.) in the process. Granted, these are all listed and outlines (which is what the company will tell you of course in their defence), but seeing this "live" is a different, more sobering experience, especially when you see the proceeds of your sales shrink towards zero. Also, when things finally sell, they flat-out seem to refuse to pay you out. I have emailed them a couple of times now after having requested a payout weeks ago and have not heard anything back. It does not help that they do not have a telephone number listed anywhere. Make up your own minds, I suppose, about what kind of business this is. I certainly did not do enough research and could kick myself now. Needless to say I have mentally written off the money that they owe me...

Luminous pink!

The shirt was a much more luminous pink than I had realised but is great because it is so visible when out on the road. Great quality and very comfortable to wear! Arrived very quickly! This is the third or fourth time I’ve ordered from this company - very happy with all my purchases!
