Absolutely appalling all round

Absolutely appalling all round, does not even deserve a one star rating .
The jumper I received looked like it had already been worn, rubbed up fabric with pieces of wool hanging out of it.
Sent numerous emails and have never received a reply.
My mistake not reading the reviews first as the majority state the same.

SCAMMER & FRAUD! Seller Ignores Messages & no refund or even credit note

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS- SCAM/THIEF/FRAUD.

SELLER WILL IGNORE ALL FORMS OF CONTACT & NO REFUND OR CREDIT NOTE. IVE BEEN CHASING FOR 4 MONTHS!

I placed an order on mid June 2025 and emailed the retailer to cancel and request return details, well within the 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

I chased again on 9 July and finally received a reply on 10 July, where they claimed they “do not refund sale items, only issue credit notes.” I responded the same day, explaining my legal right to a refund, but they never replied.

The parcel was returned (AT MY OWN COST) via Royal Mail, collected 15 July, delivered 18 July, and collected by the retailer on 28 July. I emailed again on 10 August, 22 August, and 19 September with no reply other than automated acknowledgements. On 16 October, I even sent a direct message through their very active Instagram account, which they to date have ignored.

It has now 4 months with no refund, not even a reply or credit note, no communication, and no accountability. Mey continues to post on Instagram almost daily, promoting “sales,” and her business, while ignoring customers who are waiting for refunds. They also recently removed their Google Reviews page I can only assume after negative feedback began to build up and up and more customers like me needing to complain.

The quality of the items was mixed, one set was fine, another felt cheaply made (the buttons were so plastic and tacky), and overall they were not flattering for me. However, refusing refunds on the basis of sale pricing is unlawful. Consumers are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of cancellation, regardless of whether an item was discounted.

I wanted to support a small local business, but this experience has been incredibly disappointing. Based on my experience and many similar reviews, I would strongly advise others not to order from this retailer until they start respecting basic consumer rights.

The fact Mey has my return, my money and I paid postage for that return is what angers me most. The complete lack of professionalism is disgusting.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Never experienced such bad customer service. Ignores emails, Instagram messages (whilst simultaneously posting) and comments on posts related to orders. Sends parcels with items missing. Fails to process refunds for returned items. Items overpriced. All round suboptimal experience. Surprised this ‘business’ is still allowed to exist. Avoid.

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service. Ignores emails, tried to get my money back still no reply 6 weeks later after sending proof she has received the item back. Tried email, instagram, she posts regularly and about everything but her business. So poor. Please do not buy from here! I'm contact trading standards now to investigate.

Avoid, avoid, avoid

Absolutley terrible customer service, firstly my order took weeks to even be dispatched meaning it arrived way later than planned. I returned the item the next day and it has been stuck with Royal Mail as the company have asked it not to be delivered back to them which is ridiculous. I sent it back a month ago and I am still waiting for my refund. I have commented on her insta posts, sent multiple dms and emails and had NO response. All I want it my money back. Please dont use this company and to Mey - don't bother selling items if you can't be bothered to reply to customer and refund their hard earned money!

How trading standards haven’t shut her down is beyond me

Painfully long delivery if it gets delivered at all. Had to request a chargeback from my bank which was thankfully successful! For anyone who doesn’t know if you have been told a certain timeline for delivery and it is 10 days over with no response from the supplier you can get a refund through your bank!
Said she was giving up the business as she couldn’t keep up which was her excuse for a long time but then changed her mind but nothing has changed. I don’t know how she actually has the audacity to flaunt all over socials knowing she has ripped a lot of people off. She has an inflated sense of self-importance with no thought on how she is treating people who spend their hard earned money on her site to receive… nothing!

I purchased from here many a time and…

I purchased from here many a time and while the products look great online they quality can be hit and miss- and this clearly puts MEY Out. My recent purchase wasn’t great and got was poor so tried to request a refund as per right online with her rules 7 days. (It took two weeks to be sent) she’s disabled this function on her site and as she’s winding down she has no intention of refunding me- even though not purchased in the sale either! Ignores your emails and then rants about you on social media. Such a shame as you had a good thing.

The worst company I’ve ever…

The worst company I’ve ever encountered. Returned some clothing via royal mail (as she wanted) 4 weeks later she hadn’t even collected it!!
Stopped replying to emails and messages.
I contacted my bank eventually as the woman is a pure fraud. They refunded my money thankfully. Vile human. Don’t shop there!!!

Scam!

Awful customer service and I wished I’d read these reviews before ordering!
I have had a confirmation email but nothing has been sent since.
I have emailed numerous times, written on instagram and have had nothing back!
The owner posts online everyday about clothing she’s selling etc and posts her lifestyle all over social media but fails to fulfill any orders placed! It’s an absolute cheek!

Disappointing

Unfortunately, like many others not good service from StyledByMey. At first, I wished to return the order due to not fitting but on further inspection noticed my purchase was faulty. Contacted seller who did not respond. Thankfully paid via Klarna so I opened dispute, still took a few weeks to get resolved. Item refunded however seller would not refund original postage and package even though I am entitled to refund. Seller states does not accept refund on sale items however when purchasing online buyer has return rights. Will not use again and do not recommend. It saddens me to have to right this review as I appreciate what she is doing however, customer service is key and SBM does not have any :( refund only used last week.

Don’t waste your time and money

Delivery took nearly 2 weeks, cheap fast fashion quality clothing which I didn’t expect due to leggings being £30. Sent the order back the same day and took over 2 weeks for a refund. Slow slow service and bad quality clothing would never order again.
