Very expensive mistake!
I had a custom stained glass piece made. Initially the experience was good. Good communication and I was excited for the piece. Once the details were in place, they said they'd send progress pictures during the process and that the piece would take about 3 weeks. A lot sooner than that, I received an email. The piece is done and shipped. Happy days! I pay and ask for a picture. While the main design is as agreed, the colors of glass are not at all what I asked for. There is also hooks at the top for hanging, but this piece is filling a window frame (which they knew) and now will not fit! Also clunky soldering in some areas.
I muster up the courage to send an email and let them know about these things, I express my disappointment that these could easily be caught early if they had sent progress pictures. Now it's done. Shipped.
Email has remained completely ignored for a month! No attempts made from them to have any kind of dialog about it. Most expensive mistake I have ever made.
