Astroturf reeks of dog urine, Suntex does not allow astroturf BUT boat owners still have it bc rule is not enforced. Love the slip and like my neighbor very much but wd never cause conflict bc I don't want to move slips. Other day I left early bc it's hot and too putrid. Wish Suntex wd not put us in this position. The astroturf is on the main patio rt next to mine. Augh!
Suntex just purchased the marina where I've kept my boat for almost 20 years. Basically, the management has no idea what they are doing. They don't have adequate staffing and have hired unskilled labor. Despite repeated notices and conversations about arrangements to move my boat out of state, they have refused to provide access to my boat for transport and advised they can't, now do so until some undetermined time after Memorial Day.
Slip holder for about two years now. We have had Items over $200.00 stolen from our slip. Have complained to management about security of our dock, I dock. Their web-site lists "gated security and secure slips" as one of their sales bullets.
Paid out $300.00 for two (2) electronic gate cards when we rented the slip. Was not told about the many "master" key cards floating around that get who knows who access to our dock.
Now someone continues to open the gate and prop, or tie, it open. We have been to the boat many times and the "electronic security gate" is wide open and no slip owner is present, but there are unknown people on the boats.
Complaints to management and emails to the marina owners (Suntex) have no impact.
We are waiting patiently for a large slip to open up in one of the non-Suntex marinas to open.
