Ordered a fairly complicated hipped roof building.
All delivered on time and on budget.
Great customer service, highly recomnended.

Brilliant customer service from the start. Christina helped me order, answered questions, suggested better alternatives, and provided hand-holding (by email and on phone) from first enquiry right through to delivery and beyond. Product is high quality and great price. Would thoroughly recommend.

Very slow on answering questions.
Seem to struggle with the design.
Had to buy glulams even though quote said beams include.
I asked for panels to be on bearers for telehandler unload but had to be done by hand.
Panels not wrapped so had to be protected until fitting.
Two cheek panels for dormer were different.
Two panels were longer than the rest.
Not enough glue or expanding foam supplied so had to buy more. Didn't even supply one foam gun.
Luckily I noticed the supplied screws were too short. Unluckily, the longer screws supplied were countersunk which pulled through the panels very easily when driving in so I had to buy wafer head screws.
Not enough timber supplied to reach the eaves so had to buy more.
I would not recommend for inexperienced or self builders. The panels are very heavy and difficult to manhandle onto a roof even using a telehandler, a panel lifter and 5 blokes.
I would not do a roof this way again.

Company was great, emails, delivery. Quality control on the products were not great. I had to spend a lot of time removing excess glue, more then 10mm tolerance with panels being of centre. One panel was terribly off square which I had to cut and trim. Most panels had to be trimmed to not leave a gap due to when installing one side would meet up but the other wouldn’t leaving 10mm gaps or slanted gaps. Needs to be quality checks before sending out. Overall strong product and the build all ended up square. Just made the install a lot harder due to haven’t to check which sides to use and trim or timber profiles not fitting in. I didn’t bring this up with the company due to me just needing to get on with the build.

We have bought several building kits from Super Sips, and always receive great service from initial enquiry to kit delivery. Les and his team are really friendly and knowledgeable. They are very responsive and answer technical queries. I would recommend them for your next sips project.

I have had a long term project (house build) with Supersips and have to say I've been very pleased overall with the process.

Working closely with them on design, building control documentation, build, delivery and support has been a good experience.

Compared with other building techniques the costs are very reasonable and having literally everything you need to build a house delivered, in order, direct to site is amazing.

Their SIPs were of good quality, cut and sized well, the wooden supports, glulams, beams and posts were all well made and of great quality.

You need to have a clear design before they start manufacture and there is little scope for on site modification, but that's good as long as details and designs are sorted at an early stage.

Accurate foundations are also critical, more so than with brick/block buildings as your SIPs will be cut to plus/minus a few mm!

Given my experience, I would (and have) recommend Supersips to others, from builders, contractors to self builders like me.

After a few months research looking into garden buildings\offices for my company to work from I came across and decided to go with and have a garden office built by SuperSips.

From start to finish the team at superSips were on hand, helping us every step of the process. They understood our needs, the details we wished and what we wanted in the room.

We have recently had an annex supplied by SuperSips, and cant fault them, they have helped with a structural calculations to meet the planning requirements, along with arranging the piling company. Using their products as helped us achieve a building which is B rated, but just below A for Energy efficiency and A rated for environmental impact.
The install team were great, they explained to me each day what would be happening and kept me up to date on progress. When they were finished they cleared everything away and left the site tidy.

Really quick turnaround for a number of panels and other materials. Delivery super guy helpful. All panels in perfect condition.
Garden room now finished and I'm delighted with it - complete self build project which I could only have done myself with SIPS.

I am so pleased with my Studio J. With the guidance of the supersips team we managed to build the studio ourselves. The product is great and everyone at supersips was so helpful. I would highly recommend!

Website ordering was a little odd in that I couldn’t complete my order so I rang up, advised to email order. From there it was very quick to get a no pressure quote. Invoicing great and super helpful Director on that. I opted for collection, super helpful team - were expecting me and order was on a forklift ready to go. Then to top it off, helped me squeeze it all into my van.
Easy experience, great to deal with.

I was a little sceptical when ordering because of the mixed reviews so thought it would be worth adding my experience. In short, everything has been brilliant. Declan was amazing throughout the ordering and design process, Steve has been on hand to answer my questions throughout the build (I had three questions question which in hindsight were quite noddy but every one of them replied to in under 30 mins). I didn’t catch the delivery driver’s name but he couldn’t have been more helpful even with a slightly awkward delivery location.

The delivery was at the time they promised and every piece was delivered and marked correctly. The product is high quality the building is almost perfectly square and only a few mm out over 3m.

I’m a DIY/self builder and its worth noting that the build has been hard! The panels are heavy and there’s a learning curve because there aren’t specific instructions for each build. I’m probably on the lower experienced end of who should be ordering through.

I’m short though I cannot fault the product or the support I’ve been given before ordering or during the build.

We have just completed erecting a 100 square metre two bedroom lodge constructed in Super Sips panels and are delighted with the result. Super Sips designed and manufactured the lodge in kit form based on a drawing we supplied. We primarily dealt with Les and his team who made the project so easy and hassle free. The lodge was delivered on time and for the price agreed and when we needed additional glue, foam etc it was delivered the same day as the site was very near to the factory. I can honestly say that every member of staff from Les through to the delivery drivers were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful at all times.When we rang with any questions they were there to help or they rang back within the hour. I erected the lodge with a friend who is a competent builder but if you have good basic diy skills and can use a level and a screw driver you will be able to erect one of these structures as they are supplied with full drawings and installation instructions. This method of construction is very cost effective and as it is supplied in kit form it saves a lot of money on todays expensive labour costs in comparison to a stud work structure. This is an honest and accurate review of our experience with this company as a first time customer. We have no connection to Super Sips or any member of their staff and have received no incentive to write this review. We are just very satisfied customers who feel we should share our experience.

From my experience, I had a fairly easy order process initially, but I later found there were significant issues with the trustworthiness of the salesperson I had dealt with. The company did nothing to put this right and I was appalled by the unprofessional nature of the business and it’s Directors.

The comment from the company tries to distance itself from the 'girlfriend', but they neglect to mention that this person was their employee at the time of ordering and I paid for the fitting into her bank account. The busines have perhaps been victims of fraud from their employee, but they deny all responsibility to their consumer. This would lead me as a consumer to wondering how they would manage a less clear complaint such as a quality issue with their product. Very concerning!

I would recommend completely avoiding this company!

In short avoid at all costs. Products only guaranteed for 12 months - the reason - they fail ! Missed deliveries, faulty specifications, limited customer support when roof collapses.

We paid £15,470 in 2017 for our 12m x 4m garden studio. £1,200 was for delivery charges. What went wrong?
1. The design specifications had incorrect dimensions for a very large window on different pages of the design spec
2. The promised delivery date was missed - I lost my builders I had booked to do the construction.
3. On the delivery day only the floor was delivered - no walls or roof - again lost my new builders
4. On the next delivery day only the walls delivered - had to wait weeks again for the roof - lost my roofers
5. Finally the last deliveries - but one panel missing and a beam (glulam) wrong length.
6. Finally complete we added a rubber roof (guaranteed for 25 years) The SIPs are only guaranteed for 1 year.
7. We had planned to add a natural green roof but this was delayed by other house projects - as it turns out this was very lucky.
8. After about a year and a half I went onto the roof and noticed that the panels had sunk, screw heads that had been flush were now raised.
9. I contacted Les Crossley the owner of Super SIPS and sent images. He said I should screw down the screws and patch the roof. He also said it was impossible the panels had collapsed.
10. I bought the necessary equipment / roof repair kit but hesitated to undertake the work on the screws as adding 30 holes into the rubber roof did not seem to be a solution for all issues.
11. Six months later I checked the roof and no change. As a precaution we decided to cover the roof with a waterproof DPM membrane and an artificial grass (with drainage holes) - this was to protect the roof from any future water or sun damage. The grass weighs 1.420 kg/m2 (12x4=48m2). No further panel collapse has taken place since adding the artificial grass.
12. We contacted Les again and he offered another solution - cover the roof in new OSB and then a brand new rubber roof. Super SIPs would pay 50% of material costs. I agreed as this sounded like the best solution. Les said he would come back with a quote. That was the last we heard from Les. I chased but no answer.
13. Weeks later we were contacted by Steve Meacham at SuperSIPs saying an engineer was checking the original design.
14. A month later after hearing nothing I wrote again to complain about the level of service. Steve did come back with a lengthy email with apology and reasons for delay. But then went on to say that our green roof may have caused the problem - the green roof never installed. Also the artificial roof was installed after the problems with the roof were reported. No further panel collapse has taken place since.
15. Five months after first contact we get an invoice for the remedial work - they wanted me to pay 50% of their quote - all the products I could get cheaper at my local DIY store plus they added a £350+VAT delivery charge and no inclusion of the rubber roof replacement.

Trust me - avoid - products fail, missed deliveries and after sales support a joke.

Bought SIP panels for a garden project. Company couldn't have been more helpful answering my questions. Delivery was reasonably priced and spot on even considering covid restrictions at the time. Would definitely use again.

We ended up with a 28sq metre garden room for an all in cost of just over £10,000 (You would be charged £40,000 or so by a contactor). That's the size of a small one bed bungalow, (built in 5 weekends)

They always want to deliver in two loads first the floor and walls then the roof. This means you construct a cup shape to catch all the rain for a week or so until the roof arrives. As the membrane you will use is "waterproof" you will have to hole it to drain. Try and get all deliveries in one go.

They delivered wrong sized roof and joists and not enough OSB to box in the roof overhang. Corrected in just a few days. The helpline is very good.

We needed twice as much foam and glue than they supplied and its hard to get hold of, so add more to your order.

We clad in Larch from TUIN (for pretty side), rubber for roof (50 years), plastic coated steel for the sides and rear (used on barns, should be good for 25 years plus-no painting)

We cabled electrics round outside walls and drilled through for surface mounted sockets and lights and then clad/covered with plastic steel sheeting, really easy.

Hire or buy a nail gun its really necessary, A plaster board jack/lifter/prop really handy as well (for assembling roof).
