Most disappointing experience with any insurance company

I had a terrible experience with this insurance company. I have held several travel insurance policies with them without ever making a claim, but during my last trip, I had an incident in Lagos, Nigeria, that required medical care. I sent an email with all the requested documents, and from that point on, the delays and excuses began and never ended.

They constantly found numerous excuses to avoid payment, citing issues like the exchange rate, inflated costs according to their scale, and the need for additional information to make a decision. Their tactic seems to be to wear you down with continuous delays until you eventually give up on your claim.

As a result, I lost the premium for absolutely nothing. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with, and I strongly recommend that they be prosecuted for their apparent fraud.

Better no insurance at all than insure with Swan

This company is very eager to get the premium money from you then will find 1000 excuses to avoid paying you one cent.

Very devious company. If you have the choice between making an insurance with them and not make any insurance at all, you better do the latter because at least you save the insurance premium.

I will never deal with this company again !!!

I claimed for a delayed bag as per our insurance agreement and they kept sending me emails requesting more documents, I sent them all documents needed until they requested a official letter from Emirates Airline saying that they delivered the delayed bag (when they found the bag they called the mobile number we left at the airport and delivered the bag without any documentation or official letters!!), which no Airline issue such a letter, even though I submitted to them from start the official document that says the bag is lost on arrival which is enough sold documented proof that the bag is delayed and I told them I am claiming the delay insurance not a lost bag but still they kept sending emails backwards and forwards and the results they where never planning to pay my claim like many people who shared their reviews on this company

SCAM TRAVEL INSURANCE COMPANY

When I was abroad, I was brought to urgent care. Sadly, this insurance company is unrecognized. My husband called the company, and one of the representatives advised us to pay cash, and they were going to provide full reimbursement. During the application of my medical reimbursement, they were very helpful, and it was approved right away. They have taken my bank account and all the other information needed. However, one thing we did not know was how they operated. They just keep apologizing for the delay in the process and will give several alibis as to why the money has not reached your account yet. They mentioned that my bank had declined the payment initially and that they had to send it again, causing another delay. They said the money would reach my account soon, but nothing. Up to the point that you will just give up. I availed myself of this insurance company when I flew abroad via Emirates Airlines. This company is a red flag, and they should be stopped from robbing people of their money. They have no intentions of helping you at all. DO NOT AVAIL THIS INSURANCE COMPANY; SAVE YOURSELF FROM TROUBLE. SHORY, SWAN INTERNATIONAL ASSISTANCE.

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT use ANY company that use this company to make a claim with your travel insurance

I travelled from Bangkok to Los Angeles via Tokyo , unfortunately on my way back in LAX the plane was Shedule to depart at 12:05am, initially late then it was cancelled at 3:30AM by the time it was turn to reschedule it was 5:20am I was once again booked for a flight leaving at 11:00AM of what was already next day, that was an actual delay of 12 hours when I eventually boarded the plane again, my luggage were ticketed to Bangkok on check-in on the first flight, as usual direct to Bangkok, after staying in Japan for 1 night to be able to connect from Tokyo to Bangkok.
On arrival to Bangkok 1 of my luggage did arrived but not the other with all my personal things and cloth, the luggage was delivered to my address 3 days after at 10:00 PM , I contacted Swan Assistance as they are the company that will assist in case of a claim for my travel Insurance that indeed cover delays and lost of luggage, initial exchange of email was "please do not worry we will take care of it all" then someone else contacted me to explain again what the claim was about, then another person that again requested to supply information, I supply everything they requested, except a letter from the airline as to why they were late and the flight was cancel, NO airline supply such letter, then I knew they have NO intention in accept my claim, they once again asked for my documentation, I again supplied it to then been told that my claim was rejected because I did not supplied enough information.
What a joke they were in fact looking for anything to reject it, it was even and email directed to the superiors, that by mistake they send to me, asking what to do next after I insisted that I was entitle to this claim, after that I once again send them an email asking to reconsider with NO ANSWER at all.
It is very clear that this is the way they operate and not pay any claims, a clear scam, what is not clear is if the travel insurance company is aware of this operation or they are also part of it all, PLEASE DO NOT USE COMPANIES ASSOCIATED WITH SWAN INTERNATIONAL ASSISTANCE
