Worst service ever
Worst service ever. Can’t even describe how disappointed I am. Been sitting on an airplane for 3 hours because the plane wasn’t defrost from ice. After 3 hours the plane got cancelled because the cabin crew could not, due to rules, work the whole shift to Jamaica. After wating for our bags for 1,5 hour and in the line to their Servicedesk for another 2,5 hour they offered us a new flight that will take us to our destination in 25 hours!! They didn’t even help us with accommodation. Say no more.

JBG to Zurich long haul - No leg room. seats in front tilt back far too much so you feel very chlostrophobic.
Food awful, service very poor.
Zurich to MAN short haul - waited until we were all on board having been seated for an hour decided that we couldn't fly because the toilets weren't working, Back into the terminal and instructed to go to another gate and await boarding. Told we could use our boarding passes to get something to eatr up to the value of $10, Boarding passes didn't work at any food outlet. On the flight nothing to eat offered only a bottle of water given out. Shocking customer service, Will NOT fly with them ever again and would not recommend them to anyone

Shocking service. My flight was delayed, I missed my connecting flight. I was denied access to my luggage. I had to by personal items and they do not want to reimburse me, although the help desk advisor promised me. Never fly with them!!
Absolute scammers
Totally without reasons they ruined trip to Europe from Miami (clearly they were overbooked and found a victim). Cost for me was one extra night in Miami + one lost day of work. They have not even reacted to my inquiry. Please for your own sake avoid them at all costs. Personally I would rather skip a holiday than fly with them again ever.

Very bad and not trustfull Swiss Air
We booked and payed extra for a window seat and the seat next to that in row 8 (in the front part of the cabin) , on a flight of Swiss Air from Athens to Zurich on August 6, 2023. But when boarding we had to accept seats in row 24 (no window seat and in the middle part of the cabin).
On our question to give back the extra money we payed for, Swiss Air refuse. This means that Swiss Air is not trustful. It is a very, very bad company.
So, be warned everybody, for this very, very bad and not trustful Swiss Air company.
Cowboys, no customer service, avoid
Cancelled my flight causing me to miss an important funeral, it took me 11.5 hours to get from LHR to GVA. Over 3 months ago I applied for the standard compensation and they will not reply to me, you cannot speak to anyone so I am going to raise a complaint with soep-online.de (they are the alternative dispute resolution organisation). As I see many of you have had similar problems you may wish to do the same. Oh and.. never fly with Swiss, they are the worst.
Swiss Air Fraud in Earned Credit!
After cancelling my flight, Swiss Air offered me a credit to use for another flight from the same destination to the arrival city that is available anytime within a year, but when I want to book the flight now, I just found out that Swiss Air cancelled that route from Muscat to Toronto for summer time and the next available flight is in 2 months which is fine but Swiss Air do not allow me to book on a codeshare flight or the same group airline but they expect me to wait for 2 months and delay my trip! This is literally violating my rights and hijacking my credit!!!

My luggage was not transferred to the next plane during a transfer. I noticed the problem myself by pure luck. They were going to put me in difficult situation just by lack of competence. An email was sent to the company and was never answered. You definitely should avoid using the service of this company.
Flight left late from Cuba
Flight left late from Cuba, missed connecting flight at Zurich and flight diverted to Bristol instead of heathrow after waiting at Zurich for extra 5 hours. After 20 days my suitcase is still missing. Swiss asked me to itemise all in suitcase but only able to input so much before not allowing to add any more. Swiss say they are not responsible for flight leaving late from cuba which is absolutely taking the mick. Seats were so small on 10 hr flight and after eventually offered water 2 hrs into flight being really thirsty I asked if I could have 2 of their small bottles, I was told I can only have 1. Dinner was a tiny portion of coleslaw combined with little cold rice and bread roll. £8.50 for bottle of wine. Diabolical service. Do not fly with them. Let's see what they do about missed case. Gutted.
After 26 days my suitcase arrived! I was told by Swiss that as my suitcase was missing more than 21 days it is classed as 'lost' and am entitled to cost of suitcase and contents. Initially swiss gave me case numbers and responded but now am ghosting me and will not respond. Disgusting behaviour! I will keep fighting and will go to ATOL, Aviation Authority and ombudsman.
Stole and used my personal & credit card details
Their "local number" call center (located in Philippines) stole and used my credit card when I tried to book a flight over the phone. There was no way to book this flight online so had to use their call center. After reluctantly giving out my card details to make payment, the call dropped. I called back and the exact same thing happened again. Then the same night, I have a deduction on my card for a food outlet in the Philippines. How bad can you get. No other number to call to complain. No supervisors and NO BOOKING. Unbelievable.

Having a nightmare with Swiss…
Having a nightmare with Swiss international air lines.
My 2 sons and I have individual reservations to fly but we are travelling together, 2 of the reservations were made for us and I made the other reservations. We live in the UK. I’m trying to upgrade our seats at my youngest son has Autism and needs space when we travel. We regularly fly so have the it down to a tee how to make it comfortable for him. This requires upgrading seats.
When I apply to upgrade my sons seat it comes up in GBP which is perfect and it’s a reasonable price.
But when I try to upgrade the other 2 it comes up in USD and is 5 times the price of the other one.it doesn’t matter which way around I try to do it the booking I made is much cheaper.
When I contact the service center they say it’s availability but this isn’t the case as it’s available for one.
I’ve tried online services, I’ve emailed to get it sorted but the just don’t want to help and keep saying ‘it’s availability’
Flight got cancelled
Flight got cancelled. And we were informed when we approached the airport terminal in our taxi. That is last minute! Via email. They did rebooked us for the next day flight, but this ruined our holiday plans and not only that, the cost of hotels etc. customer service is non existent at the airport, the ground staff told us they don’t work for SwissAir at the check in counter and therefore could not answer any questions. Neither are they willing to help us to look for alternative same day flights “as we are already rebooked”. Told to queue for taxi transfer vouchers to Heathrow from London City Airport and they are not willing to provide meal vouchers for whatever strange reasons. Neither can anyone answer for Swiss Air. Never ever going to fly this airline again. And by the way, British Airways is still flying into Zurich the same day with no issues. There are no explanations to the cancellation nor any assistance. SwissAir doesn’t understand what is customer service and expectations. Worst airline ever. Terrible. Unreliable and even EasyJet is much more reliable and better value for money service !

Booked flight to Vancouver. Swiss Airlines website is not user-friendly. Unable to reserve seats online. Phoned and sent messages to the airline. When I did get through on the phone trying to reserve seats was not an easy task!! Would definitely not recommend.
Avoid at all cost
Avoid at all cost. Their personnel is rude as hell and their hub airport in Zurich are experts at delaying flights since I don’t think a single one of their flights arrived on time including mine that was delayed with 10 minutes
