I’ve called you lost luggage line several times today and each time you employees have either given me a fake number for the “correct department”, hung up the phone or put me on hold and never taken me off.
My 12 hour flight was great!
I had an extremely long flight with Swiss Air in economy. I was so shocked at how pleasant it was!! Admittedly we were lucky to get the back two seats so had a sense of privacy, but really, it was such a good flight! Food was amazing, toilets were clean, flight was on time etc. But the staff were just lovely, I don't know how they did it, but they were bubbly, warm, and professional. Very impressed 😁

The frustration started when Swiss air cancelled my original flight .
when i rung their customer service in the uk they rebooked a new date but was told by their member of staff that i had to book my exttra baggage again , but would be refunded fully once i had flown . i did this, i recieved £19.17. the same goes for my return flight also cancelled given the option not to rebook which and refund . i revieved £31.20. these are both from opodo /edreams . i have been requesting Swiss air to tell me the Date and amount paid to opodo / edreams . it has been over a year of waiting on hold , recieving emails that dont help in any way . terrible customer servive and i still have to deal with opodo . shame on you Swiss air , because be aware of the amount of people in the same situation as me but continue to use them as a platform to sell your flights. i just want closure to all of this .

If I could give less than one star I would. The customer service here is appalling. I booked a flight and put the wrong surname, I immediately called and spoke to a customer service agent who changed the name straight away for me and explained it would take a day to show. It had been over a day and the name change wasn't showing so I called customer service again and they told me it was impossible to change a name, I spoke to several rude customer service agents who cut me off, spoke over me, refused to listen, essentially thought I was lying about speaking to the first agent. I finally reached someone who I thought was helpful she gave me an email address to write to and said they would help, the email was incorrect. I have emailed a complaint and followed up multiple times and have been ignored by this company. I had to purchase the ticket again. In the first 24 hours I was intitled to a refund of the ticket and I could have repurchased the same one, they have essentially denied this right by giving false information. I will never book with this company again.
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. EVER.
I booked a flight on 7th October back in March 2022. I turned up for the flight and they wouldn't let me check in. They said I had refunded on the flight on 29th Sept, which I hadn't and never received any email about this. Between 30th Sept and 7th Oct I received 3 emails saying that I was confirmed to fly. I got to airport 3 hours early and was on the phone to Swissair trying to work out what had happened. I missed the flight, as it was too late to rebook on the same one. They were putting the blame fully on me and were no help whatsoever. I was supposed to be flying business for £1800 to Sao Paolo, so I had to rebook with BA for £8000. WHICH Legal helpline tells me I should ask for compensation based on Article 8 in EC Regulations, which states that you should get a refund or rebooking of flight, neither of which did they do, so I am currently £9000 out of pocket as they have only partially refunded the original flight and didn't give me a choice to cover my BA flight. I have emailed, called, sent messages on Twitter and Linkedin and I have literally been treated like a piece of dirt. Their customer service is non-existent. Like other people here, they have had managers promising to get back to me and they never have. Terrible way to treat a first time business customers. On this experience, I will never fly with Swissair EVER and I will tell all my friends never to fly with them. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I like this airline and I used to fly it a lot (had a frequent flier card) and do fly with this company now, when necessary. My experience is positive. Only that prices are pretty high (4 stars for that).
And sometimes their web-portal glitches.
Like the most recent one, I wanted to make an online check-in and for some reason they showed me 2 fields to submit my phone, where one was filled correctly and another one contained some strange lengthy code. I removed it and system didn't allow me to move forward, because I needed a phone, I copied the first one and system didn't let me, because phone is same, I entered my another number and system didn't let me forward with some other excuse... Thus I just needed to close the page and start process over again... Well, not a big deal honestly, there is no single platform that has no bugs or little issues.
At the end, it's all about having a safe and comfortable flight and that is what I get every time.
Worth a comeback
Flew with Swiss from Dubai to Palma Mallorca via Zurich, as there are no direct flights. Have done Emirates to Barcelona and then a Vueling hop across, but Swiss has the advantage of carrying your bags straight through. Flew business for the night flight from Dubai to Zurich and then economy for the other three legs. Business flat bed was comfortable enough to sleep, though not as good as Emirates business. Economy fine for both the short haul and long haul legs. Film selection not bad, food quite tasty and seats comfortable enough. Will probably use this route again.

Recently flew in Business from SIN to ZRH. Definitely not worth the money. Flight attendant was dreadful. She had a miserable attitude and was quite rude to the passengers. Was very slow to respond to the call button (probably about 10 mins) despite just hiding behind the curtain sitting down when it was pressed. Wouldn't help passengers get their luggage into overhead bins.
Commited to refund then no record of conversation
On going issue to get a refund on a ticket, which was stated as refundable in the original purchase terms.
Evidenced this to customer support. Refund was confirmed a CONVERSATION with customer support who specified the refund would be processed within 7 working days.
Call 9 working days later back as it hadn't cleared (same customer support contact number) and there's no record of the 15 minute conversation where the refund was confirmed.
At the point of needing to make a formalised complaint as over GBP1,100 outstanding and it's a case of being continually messed around and there's NO accountability.
A month without contact
Flight was supposedly cancelled, and we were rebooked on a much less convenient/comfortable Lufthansa flight a day later. We subsequently found out our original Swiss Air flight had not been cancelled.
But my real issue is with Customer Relations: my daughter had a medical reason for not being able to fly, and the call center advised me to contact (their Lufthansa group) Customer Relations for a refund. It has been more than a month now, I've called and emailed them six times, but despite a promise I would be contacted directly, I've heard nothing. Is Lufthansa dragging Swiss Air down to its own level?

My tour was originally booked on BA to Zurich - when it was changed to Swiss Air and Geneva I looked at the reviews for the airline here (and on that other platform) and noticed that almost all the recent reviews were poor.
Needn't have worried, the whole experience (at least the outward flight) was first rate. Checkin at Heathrow was quick, the flight left and arrived on time, plenty of legroom in economy, cabin crew were great, and luggage arrived where it was supposed to. One star off for the return flight, which was from Zurich, where there was an hour-long queue at checkin (to be fair, they fast-tracked anyone whose flight was imminent). And we were put on a Helvetic flight in a plane with less legroom. Apart from that, all went smoothly again, so no real problem. Hopefully Swiss have put their problems behind them - or was I just lucky?

My first of three flights with Swiss Air commenced on 9th April 2022 and the two that followed were even worse in terms of customer service, professionalism, baggage loss issues, missed connections, assistance during long delays etc,
To make matters worse, Swiss Air Customer Service is non-existent, in the sense that it tends to ignore all communications in the hope that the problems will disappear. No they won't: nor will I.

Absolutely terrible, should be ashamed. The airline is possibly the most difficult place to receive any kind of customer service they literally have no idea what they are doing. One leg of my flight was cancelled and they only offered a partial refund, no attempt to assist with changing it. It required me to spend £1000 on a different flight when the original was only £400 , still yet to receive any kind of refund. it has now been more than 2 months. Numerous calls to customer service and they keep saying they have sent the refund, but no record of it in the bank over last 2 months and they are yet to send a confirmation. I would implore anyone thinking about using Swiss airlines to seriously re consider. Unbelievably Bad.
