Do not use this company

Do not use this company - they just rip you off and never get back to you once they have your money. I had to follow up everyday to get a price of a part which I could have sourced myself in a day. Terrible service (actually there was no service what so ever)

My Omega Oven needed replacing under warranty, what's going on!!!

My omega oven wasn't working so had my real estate agent organise repair. The oven was still under warranty so went to Harvey Norman Customer Service Centre to get their warranty service people to come out and service the oven. When they rang me the owner/ manager said that I would have to wait until they had enough work in the area I lived to complete a service call as Bankstown was out of their way since they were based in Bondi Junction. So I contacted Harvey Norman customer centre who advised Sydney Domestic appliances service to outsource it to someone else. Two weeks later a repair guy came out and said need a new oven as the fan was not repairable. One week later get a call and email from Sydney Domestic appliances saying that they would be coming out the next day between 10am and 2pm and if I agreed to the time that there would be a cancellation fee of $99 if I was not their for the installation of the new oven, and they would ring me 30 minutes before they would arrive. It's now the day and 1.20pm and no call. Ring customer service to find out what's going on and Sophie ,customer service girl tells me that she was unable to get a hold of the technician and that he might be ,get this,on the toilet, having lunch or busy. Really, that's why we have mobile phones. When I told her that I had taken the day off work, part time casual,no pay fir the day and I was not happy her reply was " I am not a miracle worker " . LOL. Her husband,Steve the owner then rang me to abuse me for being frustrated and angry for them not even having the decency to call me and let me know they were not coming. I am appalled at their customer service ,their attitude and their inability to perform their duty as the warranty contract company . The job has now been given to another company to be fulfilled. Why take on a contract if you don't have the resources, skill or temperament to complete the task.

Sydney Domestic Appliance Centre

Not surprised by reviews from google and True Local. Steve is immediately disrespectful, lazy and does NO due diligence. He condescendingly refers you to use a manual, because aparently a washing machine is too difficult to use.
The machine is still broken.

I now have to consult another service and accept that my time and my landlord’s money was indeed wasted.

I do not recommend Sydney Domestic Appliance Centre at all. You will pay for nothing if you decide on this service.
