Incorrect Information Supplied on Purchase
I tested a VW Golf Hybride, during the road test I was told it recharges the same as any other hybrid vehicle. After a short road test and the supplier information I decided to purchase it.
In the week following it was obvious the vehicle did not recharge as informed on the road test. After the vehicle was plugged into charge the engine would NOT recharge as expected.
7 days after purchase I returned to Sydney Select Bristol and spoke to the sales person. I was asked to have the workshop confirm any issues, I waited at reception to be told they have no qualified personnel to work on the hybrid system. The sales person was busy on google looking to confirm information. It was agreed to drive the vehicle under other modes and let them know.
I returned the week later with the same issues, road tested another hybrid I was happy with. The sale people went off to discuss and returned to offer me £2500 less than I paid after 2 weeks and 200 miles.
The incorrect information was supplied on purchase by Sytner staff. I would have expected due to this, that I would have only had to pay the difference of my original purchase.

First time using Sytner Select for MOT & Service
First time using Sytner Select for my MOT & Service, previously used Lysander Rd. The appointment was made online from the Sytner Select website. I was contacted by email to confirm the appointment and be informed that another member will contact me to discuss available packages/payment plans.
The day of the appointment came and no reminder (as usually happens) and no-one got in touch regarding payment plans. I telephoned before leaving the house to be told there was a cross over with communication due to business strategy on 13 January (the initial email was on 14 January).
Explained the situation to service reception at time of arrival, to curtly be told “we are nothing to do with them, they are different company” !!!
Then the standard text and email attaching the health-check video came. It was very short, fast speaking and unclear. Tried to telephone to the service centre to clarify the health check results, it stated the signee's (of the email) number is invalid (I didn’t select a number).
Explained to service staff at time of collection about the unclear recording and requested a printed report.

I bought a VW tiguan from Bristol…
I bought a VW tiguan from Bristol store. It only had 20k miles on it. Luckily I purchased an extended warranty, as I have had nothing but issues with the car. Currently it is back in the work shop again. Ive broken down numerous times and for a family car this is just such a worry.
Each time sytner have it back for repairs it takes weeks before I get it back again. The service department dont EVER answer the phone.
My car has currently been there for 7 days with no diagnosis and no update until i went there in person today.
I can't use the courtesy car option through warranty as they havent submitted a claim, as in over a week they havent diagnosed the issue, even though the error codes were very clear and it has already been fixed for the same fault previously...
They keep selling cars but they can't support when the cars have issues which mine has constantly.
Today at the sytner office there were loads of staff still selling but no one at the service desk, and no service manager (apparently a new one is starting monday!?) Their priorities are just to sell. Dont expect any after sales support!

Top Quality Sales and After Sales Service Experience
5* car buying experience and after sales service. We recently purchased a car from Sytner Select in Bristol who were over 150 miles from us, as it was a particular model we were seeking. Henry Thomas in Sales was charming, very helpful and knowledgeable sending a video before we travelled down to view the car prior to us viewing and then collecting it a week later. The whole purchase experience was very smooth and communication between Bristol and their nearest branch to us in Warrington was excellent where Adam in Service sorted out a couple of minor issues that needed attention under warranty. Highly recommended and would definitely buy another car from them in the future.

Staff were informative and helpful, broke down anything I was confused or unsure about and made it very simple and clear. We went through all the steps of the process and it was made so easy by Henry/harry and also the little bald fella was very helpful and made it very clear I could clearly see he was going the full distance and making sure I was completely sorted before leaving.

Absolutely appalling customer service
Absolutely appalling customer service, brought a car a month ago and it started to have problems so brought it back in and had an appointment booked to not have any updates in the day I called 8 times and no one answered, so left it for the next day and rang 20 times still with no answer!!!!
For a big company for no one to answer my calls is horrendous!!
I would double think before buying from Sytner!!!!!
