Had a rotten experience with Sytner Select Cardiff don’t know how they expect to sell cars if they don’t return your calls. Was hoping to make a three hour journey but nothing.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Liam Booth while deciding on a new car purchase, and the service we received was outstanding from start to finish.
Liam was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely interested in helping us find the right vehicle for our needs rather than simply making a sale. He took the time to answer all of our questions, explain the different options available, and ensure we felt confident throughout the entire process.
What really stood out was Liam's friendly and approachable manner. There was never any pressure, and he made what can often be a stressful decision feel straightforward and enjoyable. His professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail were second to none.

The staff were relatively helpful but kept changing role and at times didn’t feel like they knew what was happening or who was actually dealing with me as a customer

Bought a Kia Sportage from Cardiff branch. Upon entry I was met by Kips, he dealt with the whole process from answering questions via email and calls, test drive and the final handover. He was brilliant throughout. The whole process was smooth and nothing was too much trouble.

Service and MOT seemed thorough and the update video was reassuring.

I was told I was the first car in as I turned up at 8:45am so was surprised it took another 5 1/2 hours before my car was ready to go. I did see my car parked up ready to go 45 mins before being called by the admin person so assume this was an admin delay. There only appeared to be one member of staff handling all of the calls, invoices and customers in for the garage whilst lots of other staff stood around not doing very much. Perhaps not the most efficient use of staff resources.

Chose the service for convenience because my car is part of the MOT package but price of the service was a lot more expensive than other independent garages.

for months now, i have been trying to get the car i purchased from Bristol sorted out. the salesman charged me £399 for a ceramic coating that was not applied, the MOT was not do and i had to leave the dealership with 2 months on the MoT on the car. the car was MoTd at cardiff dealership and failed on bushes and the clutch slave needed to be replaced. i was booked in for the dsy but on arrival, i was then told to leave the car as it would be more than a day, this would have stranded me in cardiff 40 miles from home, i have a pacemaker and a diabetic. we agreed that it would be booked in when a courtesy car was available. that was a week ago and now my calls are not being answered. they say they will call but nothing in a week as i say.

I had a terrible experience with a car that was not as advertised. I ordered a transfer of a used Volvo from the Wakefield branch to Cardiff and booked a test drive. On the website the car looked clean and ready to drive away. However, the car wasn't ready and was in terrrible condition. It was dirty inside and out, then when I looked under the bonnet it was covered in moss and leaves which looked like it had been taken as a part ex and sold on directly with no work being done to it. When I drove it there was clearly a problem with the clutch and it required very heavy pressure to push it down. I was told I just wasn't used to driving Volvos and would get used to it, as if I hadn't been driving for 30 years and did not have a clue. I was still going to consider the car, after checking the cost of a new clutch, however, the price they were now asking was £400 more than was advertised. They denied that the price would change and, as they had removed the link to the advert, and I did not have a screenshot of the original advert, I could not prove this. They would not budge on the price and would not refund the £99 transfer fee, despite the car not being in the condition advertised or being sold at the advertised price. This is a totally unacceptable service for such a large car dealer

Fantastic service from start to finish. Bought a new car for this company and the whole experience was fantastic. The salesman where very knowledgeable and not pressuring. The sale and credit agreement was all sorted before hand, so had plenty of time to read through before signing. On the day of picking up of the car we were made treated very special.
Definitely recommend.

I can only give 5 stars for my personal experience at Sytner select Cardiff. Ivan (sales) Jonathon James (manager) & the head of business. All 3 were fantastic, from a little hick up being resolved within 3 days. The customer service I received from start to finish was exceptional. Cheers guys

My experience did drag on a bit as I went there on the 26/9/26 and picked vehicle up the 6/10/26 besides also rear wiper was not changed I know the finance side of it was not your fault.But then no log book but besides that staff were very accommodating

Shinay was a absolutely exceptional always went above and beyond with my queries and sale.

This is my third car I've bought from these peeps over the years . Extremely reliable cars done 268k in my first car , second car done 130k and still going strong ;) . Went in to store few days ago and bought wifes new car . First day we went in and kip a very helpful chap . Went out off his way explain bits and pieces about certain types of cars we were interested in and how much it would be taxing them . We did arrange to pop back next day with all paperwork for our car for trading . Kip was helping another couple out so darius stepped in , he was also very helpful and went out of his way to make the whole process easy . Very professional customer service from both chaps and another fantastic car purchased . 5☆ company and would definitely recommend both chaps a credit to your company. Very happy customer's 😊
