I was fraudulently charged over £175 from this company which I have never used before. The money was taken from my bank account without my knowledge or authorisation and I have reported the fraud to my bank.

Avoid! Very dodgy company that I hope is being investigated.

I was recently fraudulently charged £159.41 by this app (I've never used this service before).

Report to the bank and fortunately I was refunded.

This is a scam and a fraud. Block all payments with your bank . FCA advise you to call your bank and put a block on taxi app uk so no future payments can be taken.

I have had no dealings with TaxiAppUK since August 2024 when a taxi I had ordered in advance for the day of my daughter’s wedding failed to turn up .They had given me the driver’s number so I rang him but he said he had no knowledge of the booking and wouldn’t come .Last Friday more than 18 months later £103 was taken out of my bank account

If I could give this app a zero I really would. I used to use the app whenever I was in London and it always seemed to be alright. I haven’t used this app in over a year and was recently charged £197.90 for no reason. They are scamming people. Will be disputing with my bank hoping I can get the money back. Also they have no customer service whatsoever. I put in a ticket with them to try and get this sorted but have had no response. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Never use this app, they will rob you.

I have never used this app. I tried it last year, but no taxi ever came, so I uninstalled it. Yesterday, Taxi app (even though I no longer have the app) charged more than £100 from my account without any reason. BE CAREFUL, the app is not secure and may apparently take your money without justification. Make sure to block Taxi app on your accounts.

Frank is the best !! He made myself and my daughter feel so comfortable and he got us home safely after a concert. He gives good vibes.

Driver 612 arrived quickly and was very friendly

Fast reply and taxi picked up/dropped off as expected. THEN an hour later, another taxi called and said 'outside waiting for you'. I informed that another taxi had transported us and he hung up. Found that the firm charged us 2x times and despite submitting a 'ticket', never received a response NOR a refund. BAD experience.

Pre booked and was let down as no taxi arrived. Will never use it again.

Downloaded App to support Black Cabs and the trade and being an app built by taxi drivers for taxi drivers is a joke because it's certainly not built for customers. You try to get started enter your region my case uk with prefix +44 you then enter your phone number and receive this message (Warning authenticate) and that's it. Drives complain about the PH apps and the odd one used by black cabs but complain about commission well as a old saying goes you never get nothing good for free because this app is a total joke which makes you studying for the knowledge and signing up as a driver a joke when the app cannot build a customer base, Shame on you Taxiapp.

Such a shame that that the folk running this service are clueless as the concept is first class. Low rate for drivers and no surcharge for customers. I have tried numerous times to get back into the app to no avail. It just says “Warning authenticate”. Despite contacting via the website no responseor offer to help. I don't think I nk they'll be in business much longer.

Do not use. Total scam. Don’t turn up. No communication. And charge you for the pleasure on cancelling. Black cab drivers, who are generally great, need to do something about - assume it’s not run by them - it so they don’t get a bad name from it!

They charged me £5 for an cancellation that I did not make. Also they're very untrustworthy as they don't turn up when you've booked them.

Booked a cab last night for an 8am Sunday morning pickup. No acknowledgement and no cab turned up. Tried to book a ride, app tells me none available despite trying four times. Managed to hail one in the street?
Why? And the original booking is still in My Rides.
Nice idea but if the drivers aren’t using it what’s the point?

Driver cancelled my ride ….No notification…App is askg me to pay £5?

I live in hartlepool and despite what time or where i order from on the app its always declined by the operator, even if its hours away i need it. Absolutely useless service needs looking at by the council or whoever deals with these part timers

I booked to take elderly guests from a wedding to the reception as I thought it would be more comfortable than the wedding bus
The taxi didn’t arrive.We rang the driver he said he had no knowledge of the job and he was at home on a day off.
It caused stress to us all on my daughter’s wedding day .

We have tried to use the app to get a taxi at 6 times and every time there are none available. Yet I can hail one easily. Not sure why there is an app if the drivers don't use it. Yes, I was in London each time: Southbank, Covent Gardens, Piccadilly Circus, etc. Yes, daytime and early evening hours.

Get your taxi the old fashioned way.
Booked a taxi and oh yes he turned up but had £6 on the meter before leaving. I thought naively it was the base far plus the surcharge of £4.
I can not discourage you enough. If you must book FREENOW is more transparent with their fees or Uber.
