The TEFL. Org provided some good videos of teachers facilitating their students in class. Also, the quizzes were handy to recap on new knowledge gained as a result of the courses. Feedback from my tutor was generally prompt. There were lots of small assignments (perhaps too many!) but they did 'keep you on your toes'

Good overview of TEFL but lacked detail
Whilst the course gave you an insight into what being a TEFL teacher involved, the course seems a little dated. Classroom videos were used a lot for the methodology section, but none to show teaching larger groups & online teaching. The videos used the PPP structure for almost all of them,and little into the others, which considering online teaching is a common choice it would have been really useful to see videos using online classes using BDA structures. It felt like the 40hr online teaching course was padded out with tools & resources to use rather than teaching examples/ clips.
The tutor was quick to mark but the replies were often duplicate copy/ pastes and lacked a personal touch.
