Mis-sold holiday and non-existent customer service
I booked a holiday to Antalya after the sales representative (Daniel) explicitly confirmed there was no weight limit on under-seat baggage, only size limits. When I checked directly with Corendon Airlines, they confirmed a 4kg limit.
I spent days chasing Teletext Holidays for answers. I was repeatedly promised callbacks from agents and a manager (Alfred) that never happened, while being given constantly changing timelines for their quality team to review the call recording.
When Alfred finally emailed, he claimed the rep did mention the weight limit—which is completely false. I immediately requested a copy of the call recording. A week later, I have received no response.
Save yourself the stress and money. Avoid this company.

I have emailed customer relations but they only want to deal with issues after the holiday and not before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed a price for 12 of us to benidorm. 2k deposit paid. Rang me later and said the hotel won't honour the price and wanted more money then tried bartering me how much. He went from £150 per person extra each to £50 to £25. How can that happen if the hotels fault? Asked for deposit back. Said can take 5 - 8 days. Joke. Made a complaint. Won't be trying to book with them again.

The 5–8 day timeframe is the standard processing time for funds to be returned, depending on the payment provider.

Very bad experience with TeleTex was…
Very bad experience with TeleTex was looking for a Holiday holiday was asking for the same hotel that I previously booked with them three years ago and they mislead me with the sister hotel which was lowest stars and when I asked them to amend the booking even asked to pay more they followed me off and said there is nothing they can do. This is the second mistake they’ve made have booked over several holidays and recently they have let me down quite frequently very disappointed.

We booked Marakech 4 star hotel with Teletext, it has facilities that were suitable a gym was perfect, a day before we flew out they rang me saying our chosen hotel is not available closed for refurbishment. I was shocked at this a day before we were given another hotel that matched my chosen one IMEPERIAL PLAZA Spa Hotel, with a gym which was important as I train daily, I made sure this was clear several times they reassured me it was open from 8am as they spoke to manager. Upon arrival I asked what time the gym would be open, they replied no it’s closed all week for refurbishment not sure when open I replied so open later tomorrow the man replied no all week closed I was horrified and angry I said why my holiday provider rang you and you said it’s open he told me to take this in my room with my husband. 8 days in this hotel they provided half board with a spa and luxury gym drinks included. We had to pay for our drinks, we were told off when we took water in it was 40* and they sold it very expensive very rude service. The shower was cold daily and if we asked it never got seen to just false promises
The shower head was broken there was daily drilling that gave me a migraine I cried on the 2nd day and contacted Teletext several times only to be told it will be dealt with I had to pay for the calls no one sorted this out and I eventually gave up asked to be moved to another hotel nothing it was awful the hotel was beautiful clean,food was stale same daily people were leaving no uk food. I’m now taking this up with my bank disputing it for a refund what an awful experience with Teletext Holiday plz do not book. Rude staff at the hotel,although a few were lovely I later found out that there was not even a gym at a by some cleaners and the jacuzzi was left rotting outside. Do not book with Teletext they give you false promises and are not honest also the hotel also advertised falsely as there was not even a spa or a gym.

Horrendous
I would like to retract my previous shining review of this company due to being sold a misrepresented holiday by Sumeer. I have since spoken with Andy who has falsely promised call backs to resolve this upon listening to the recording of the booking. I now have to find another another elsewhere and fight for my £500 deposit paid that they took immediately from me. An absolute disgrace! Never again and don’t even think about it.
