Disappointing Experience at Tenpin
I had booked a dart game and, when I arrived, there was no staff at the counter. There were several other customers waiting as well. A staff member eventually came after around 7–10 minutes. It was quite strange to see the counter unattended during a busy weekend.
I then inserted the coin for two games, but the machine didn’t work. I reported the issue to the lady at the counter, and she said she would come and check it. Unfortunately, no one came to assist, and we were left waiting.
The whole experience was very disappointing. The staff availability and customer service need significant improvement, especially during busy periods. I expected a much better experience from Tenpin.

We came for the escape room experience…
We came for the escape room experience and left feeling a little underwhelmed and disappointed. The girl hosting our experience did not seem to be doing her job very well and came off as quite rude. We were here for my daughter’s 12th birthday and a couple of the girls were running late but instead of being understanding she rudely pushed at us about our time slot. Once in the room, we were given radios and yet she made no effort to provide time warnings like most escape room venues do, and when we didn’t manage to escape she did not bother to take the time and effort to explain to us how to solve the rest of the room. Seeing as one of the girls didn’t turn up due to a personal issue, that means we paid extra for the room time slot and yet we weren’t given the benefit of the doubt for some extra time at least since we began a little bit late. it’s unfortunate as the challenge itself was quite fun, just a shame that this staff member came off as a little bit lazy.

Waiting for too long
Hi
When we arrived before our timeslot, staff were not ready to speak to us. They then told us about the waivers to sign. This should have been told to us beforehand. This would have saved time. When we got in to the room, the lady said she was manning two rooms.
While in the rooms the speakers did not work properly and so we did not hear any horns or bells. So this hindered out time along with her delaying a response to us when we asked for cues. She told us to use our phone light for a clue even though she told us to not use our phones while in there. She also told us to not touch the curtains. Then she gave a clue that the key was in curtain so this confusion hindered is more. Anyway by the time we finished we didn't win in time. The lady came and said we had over our time but the speaker wasn't working and so didn't have a 10 minute warning.
We were given a a free game of bowling. This went ok. We ordered food by the QR code with quick serve. I spent £62.85 the prices did not change and no Tuesday 50% off was not added to the order. The food then took over an hour and 15 minutes. We finished the game of bowling before our food ceme. After asking three times the food came out. We were on the tables in the dining space at the this. I had three dysregulated
Children and my sugars dropped as I am diabetic. When the food came out, it was cold.
Not many staff in the building. Tables not being cleaned.
I feel like from beginning to end our experience was reuied. Our family members came from new new Zealand and they have no opportunity to redo this.
In lieu of the issues we faced I would like be offered some sort of compensation for our less than expected, experience.

The laser quest was shrunk to 3/4 of its original size, you could hardly hear the video on what to do. It was just one long room which was not very fun compared to the original two stories massive room it gave no room for the imagination. I have to say I would be willing to pay double if not triple the price for a better one, even if that meant I had to go further.

Worth it for the Tuesday deal but when we got to our lane it was covered in drinks and food, the line for drinks took a long time, handful of the machines were broken and only one change and one ticket machine was working meaning there were lines for both. We had fun becuase we made it fun

Bowling feels like a side hustle
Mid week deals pretty good but the staff just don’t really care about anything but selling alcohol and they always bunch people together or let people pay for one person and have 8 on the lane.

Then we wanted to buy cider and they said that they have just apple so we agreed to buy and another lady came and said that they don't sell cider now they just sell beer that is more expensive. We didn't want beer so we didn't buy anything.

We came with family for a fun time with kids we had drinks at the table which me and husband sat at staff member came started putting drinks in to a jug as waste without asking, we looked at her and she said are you finished it was to late so we said yes she spilt drinks on table and never came back to clear the mess she came back after I spoke to other staff she said I will bring tissues for you to clean we gave her a look and she cleaned as she was leaving banged her trolley in to my disabled husbandd chair on purpose staff also need to be polite to kids when they win there tickets and not sigh at them
