Uploads are extremely slow, and downloads of the uploaded files literally takes hours. I can live with annoying ads, but the offered upload/download speeds make this serice unworthy. Ended up deleting my free account.

It's simply not worth it
Too much ads. Playing tricks on downloading, have some inbuilt feature which requires access to whole system storage, I mean why the hell?

The worst cloud storage experience I've ever had. Their abusive business model is to make unsuspecting users to upload their files onto the 1TB "free" storage, while serving you ads and offering zero privacy. Then, it turns out that downloading your own files is a huge problem, as you can't download more than 3GB at once and the speed is horrible. So you pay for the premium. But guess what? You still can't download more than 3GB, so if you have bigger folders, you need to download all the files in them separately. And their "ultra fast download speed" for premium users increased from 500 KB/s to "whooping" 1 MB/s. This is ridiculous, don't event think about using their "free" 1TB storage, because you will regret it later.

Brought in a new feature that asks for you to get verified from your email only. I sadly no longer use that email as I deleted account

A few weeks earlier I begged them to change account email. And no way they would do it for me.

So completely locked of account and Terabox won't help me to access. So they are using my data without my permission.

This is typical Chinese spyware . Don't use this website people you've been warned.

Shame it's app only - would be great to see pics on a desktop screen. Lots of ads but it's ok - I just need lots of free storage as a backup.

Terabox is an f'ing nightmare !!!! This pile of jumbled letters and words is impossible to navigate without an education in IT! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.

TeraBox has scammed me TWICE while failing to deliver promised storage:

1️⃣ First Payment for nrjboheme: 22 Jan 2024 ($1.99 → 1.87 CHF)
2️⃣ Other Payment for engineer.cloudservices: 22 Jun 2025 (Order #2506232522490026562)
➡️ BOTH promised 2TB ➔ NEITHER delivered (storage cut to 1TB)

nrjboheme Premium active until 10/dec/2025

1TB removed without warning

Their Violations:
✖️ Double-charging for same service
✖️ Breach of contract
✖️ Ignoring complaints since July 11 (only auto-replies)

My Actions:

Reporting to Swiss (FRC/SECO) & international (FTC) agencies
Filing chargebacks for BOTH fraudulent charges
Preparing legal action

DEMAND:
1️⃣ Restore FULL 2TB immediately
2️⃣ Refund one payment as compensation
3️⃣ Public apology for this scam

because I no longer trust the security of Terabox's services,

I only use Terabox as a backup cloud service provider temporarily, all files will be encrypted by AES 256 BIT mathematical algorithm before uploading,

I will never provide the ENCRYPTION KEY to TeraBox

This is a very bad application, I can't watch anything online, the buffering is too much

there is no place to cancel subscription. Lucky I live in EU and there is a place i can send the company's name to be listed if they do not cancel my subs. I dont mind if they keep the 1e odd or whatever I paid. Its not worth even that amount

I hate this Cloud service so much. I only want to be a free user and upload a 6GB folder containing all my files and this 300 files limit - it got me so disappointed. So, a Terabyte of storage has MORE than 300 files in average then this Cloud app just limits the true storage to like few MB or GB. I will never use this again.

Way too slow at uploading from my mobile and it constantly fails and I have a mega fast reliable connection. Will stick with PCloud. I only wanted to try this for photo sorting.

To my shock, the account was completely empty—all data vanished without prior notice or explanation from TeraBox.

I am certain this was not caused by unauthorized access (e.g., hacking) but rather a systemic error or negligence originating from the platform itself. This incident raises serious concerns about TeraBox’s intentions and reliability, as well as whether the error was intentional or accidental. My privacy has been severely violated, and my intellectual property has effectively been stolen, resulting in catastrophic professional and personal harm.

As a user who trusted TeraBox’s advertised "extreme security" and backup systems to protect against harmful bugs or data loss, I demand immediate answers and accountability:
1. **Explanation**: Why did my files disappear? Was this due to technical failures, policy violations, or automated system errors?
2. **Recovery**: Full restoration of all lost data, including backups.
3. **Transparency**: Disclosure of TeraBox’s data protection protocols and how such a failure occurred.
4. **Compensation**: Rectification for the theft of intellectual property and breach of trust.

This incident reflects gross disrespect for user rights and undermines confidence in cloud storage services. I will escalate this matter through legal channels and public platforms unless a satisfactory resolution is provided promptly.

I spent a week trying to upload my archive both from my desktop via their web browser and via AirExplorer from my Google Drive. In both cases I am constantly seeing missing files and system errors. It's incredibly frustrating. I simply cannot trust this system. Account deleted.

i have a free account for 1 tb, but when i want to upload a file of 25 gb it doesn't work, says not enough space, buy pro version .... worthless !
