I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to Terabyte Electronics. Avoid this place at all costs.
I travelled over an hour to bring them my water-damaged laptop, convinced by the large number of 5-star reviews that they were the best option. I now seriously question how genuine those reviews are, because my experience was nothing short of a nightmare.
After leaving my laptop with them, I was told the motherboard needed replacing at a cost of £582. As my laptop is high value (32GB RAM and level 9 processor), I agreed to pay. Over two weeks later, the motherboard finally arrived and I had to pay for a rental laptop in the meantime.
When I got my laptop back, within days I noticed it was running much slower. I checked the specs and discovered my original 32GB RAM and level 9 processor had been replaced with 16GB RAM and a level 4 processor. Completely unacceptable. Why would anyone expect a high-spec laptop to be returned downgraded?
When I raised this, the manager, Sammy, became defensive and tried to shift the blame onto me; even suggesting I should have told them what specifications I “wanted.” Why would I need to tell a repair shop not to downgrade my laptop? The responsibility is on them to return it with the same specifications. If they were unsure, they could have called. Instead, they installed cheaper components without informing me. They reduced both the performance and the value of my device.
To make it worse, I was later told the correct motherboard (matching the original specs) would cost an additional £552 and was available within three days. So the extra two weeks of rental costs could have been avoided if they had sourced the correct part from the start. Had I known the true overall cost, I would have skipped all of this and bought a new laptop — which would have saved me at least £250 and weeks of stress.
Cherry on top: for the final motherboard replacement, they gave me a “loan” laptop. Multiple keys didn’t work. Completely faulty. When I told them, their response was simply to come back to the shop as if I have unlimited time to travel back and forth from Kilburn during work hours.
I had to buy a plug-in keyboard just to continue working. I was told I’d be refunded. When I returned, they refused and instead handed me a cheap phone charger as “compensation.”
Mistakes can happen. But the manager made it clear this wasn’t considered a mistake this is just how they operate. That’s the real issue.
I can only imagine how many customers this has happened to who don’t know to check their RAM or processor specs.
Don’t be misled by the positive reviews. This place doesn't even deserve one star.
You have been warned.

They managed to recover all my data from my USB. They were very kind and helpful. Thank you.

Do not go there !
I went to this shop because of the number of google reviews. I understood they are better at pushing people to get them reviews rather than doing data recovery. They proposed me a iPhone cable against 5 stars. But did they recover my data ? They did not and I find out today they damage my hardware, this damage could only had happens when opened so it’s unquestionably their fault.
PS : INVOICE NO. 32892, unfortunately it's not fake. I wish I had never went to this place, they kept my hardware for 6 months without fixing it and gave it back with more damage then it has had initially. When I went to central London, to a more professional place (KLDISCOVERY ONTRACK), they were baffled by the story and the level of incompetence.

The wait was way too long. I asked for a chemical cleaning, I had to pick up my MacBook after 5 days and that was because I stopped my repair because I needed my laptop back. If I had not called and requested a pickup who knows how long I would’ve waited.

I had a great experience at Terabyte Electronics. I purchased a Samsung A35 5G, and the staff were extremely helpful and professional throughout the process. What really impressed me was their ability to recover all my data from my old phone even though I didn’t have the password—something I thought would be impossible.
They explained everything clearly, handled my data with care, and made the whole transition to the new phone smooth and stress-free. Excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff, and fair pricing. I highly recommend Terabyte Electronics to anyone looking to buy a new phone or needing help with data recovery.

I'm guessing it was Chirag I dealt with. He may be a great businessman, but his customer service skills are seriously lacking and he does not know how to treat women. I am scared to go back to this place, and I was happy with the service I asked for, but his reception was far from cordial. He doesn't compel return custom, but his staff do. This is a real shame. He probably doesn't even pay them enough.
Those who are good with technology, can change their own phone screen. Those who aren't, go to a phone repair shop. So, when they asked for a fixed screen and get it, they don't expect their microphone to stop working. I had to make a journey back, not a fun one. It turned out that he had forgotten to piece holes into the sellotape covering the microphone. I was informed I was meant to check it....but why check a microphone when the issue was a screen? His staff member informed me they normally piece these holes...so why not for me?
Chirag, you need to give your staff a pay rise, as they would be the only reason I'd come back.
A simple sorry would have sufficed Chirag. You can't blame the customer for not checking something that you should have dealt with.

Their prices may seem steep, however you do get your device returned within a day and a two year warranty which is arguably worth it.
I had issues with a repair and then returned my laptop so I could get it back later back to normal. That was a relief - so thank you for that.
