Great Products, Great Customer Service, Terrible Carrier.

Look - the goods I purchased from this company were excellent quality and great value for money. But the carrier they used (DHL) treated the goods so badly they were broken on delivery. However, the customer service team at Terralec were fantastic and I got a replacement next day. The package arrived via DHL squashed and ripped - but (fortunately) the goods were ok this time. Moral. Great company, great customer service team, crying shame about the carrier they use.

A wonderful customer service team

A wonderful customer service team. I experienced a problem with the strap for a Cobra equipment bag 6 months after purchasing it and Dan, from Terralec customer service, was incredible and sent me a replacement Cobra bag. Many thanks.

A very impressed first time buyer...

This was the first time I have used Terralec Ltd. and it was great! I could not find the item anywhere else via Google. It was ordered in the afternoon, I was notified it had been despatched the same day, and the item was received with 48hours, quicker than I was expecting. From ordering, though to updates from the delivery supplier, to receiving the item, was a very quick, professional, and trouble free process, and the least I could do was leave a positive review.

Very quick and good service.

I've just started using this company recently for a few bits and pieces. They are really quick when it comes to them sending and you recieving your order. Just a few days on both occasions. You also get a 10 percent off your next purchase with every order too. Very happy with this company.

Excellent Company To Deal With

The ordering process was very simple and speedy and received confirmation immediately of my order. I received the order four days later in perfect condition. I will use definitely Terralec again.

Helpful rapid response to any query

Helpful rapid response to any query
Dan Cornish provided excellent support and information as our knowledge of DMX lighting was minimal
Gave a brief overview of requirements for light and sound system for small village hall
Received a detailed itemised quotation within 1 hour
After clarifying a few points an order was placed and the delivery arrived within 5 days. Everything was perfect. The equipment has been successfully used to light the school pantomime and enhance the new year party
Would definitely recommend this company

I placed an order with this company and…

I placed an order with this company and it had initially gone through PayPal which was OK, I was then contacted about deliver delays which is now standard due to covid ext, I then explained in an email to save the courier the effort of carrying the items up 2 flights of steps I could exactly meet the driver downstairs and carry the item to my garage which is common sense well that's what I thought, I was then sent an email to explain the order was cancelled as its been flagged for fraud and they've had fraudulent activities through PayPal in the pass ?? Which isn't the present i said. The company went further to say its got to be delivered to my address and I must show id : I said this is ok " the company decided that it didn't seem right as the amount for 3 zenith cd8000 amplifiers was to expensive to go through PayPal??? I felt i was been judged which I was .
The company then said its normal procedure?? I said this was not stipulated on your website , l wouldn't have wasted time and I don't think PayPal would have used your company for the purchase that go over a certain amount of £1400 for customers to be turned down.
This was a bizarre experience of company that judges and tarnished people with the same brush .

I have recently purchase the same amplifiers using the same procedure from another company spending 2k no problems whatsoever.

I will advise all my dj friends to stay away from this company .

100% satisfied

Another order promptly desptached from Terralec. Always good on price and service. The padded equipment bags are excellent, last years and are very well made.

Great, long established UK business.

I have been a customer of Terralec since the 1980's and always found them helpful, competitive on price, and with excellent customer service. Recent purchase was a replacement speaker stand bag which was keenly priced and delivered within two days of placing my order. The quality was far better than the price reflected. Once more , I'm very pleased and would recommend and use Terralec again.

No delivery after 10 days

Ordered just 2 bulbs even paid for delivery (which i hate doing) expected to wait 3-5 days contacted them by phone after 5 days having still not received item and no dispatch email. Guy i spoke too was helpful telling me order was dispatched and to wait a day or two. Now on day 10 since placing order and still no delivery

Brought a faulty speaker to be…

Brought a faulty speaker to be inspected to confirm for insurance replacement.
Planned inspections were delayed, communication was poor between staff and although promised, not one phone call was returned.

The fault was intermittent and only occurred after a long period of being switched on but I was assured that they couldn’t find a fault and the speaker was working, even after I expressed my concerns!

As you can imagine at the very next gig, it didn’t work and we had to partially refund a customer and deliver a poor quality sound. We put our trust in these guys to do a sterling job and they let us down!

Ordered item online and received an email within a few minutes detailing delivery date and time: I was quite surprised that it was the next day as other companies tend to put 3-5 working days. As far as I could see, this was the cheapest price for the item and with their speedy delivery, I couldn't ask for a better service. Would recommend. Thanks

Dan Cornish of Terralec provided an outstanding service on behalf of Terralec on a number of purchases over the last few months,however this has been a consistent experience with the sales team.

Unresponsive and unhelpful

I had previously ordered from Terralec with no problems. However on a recent order from Terralec, I made a mistake ordering a case. This was my fault. However, I immediately contacted Terralec to their email address provided (within 4 mins) to cancel the order. I then emailed again the following day. Both emails weren't responded to (and 2 weeks on, still no response). I did not receive a confirmation order email from Terralec (nothing in spam, nothing came through - previous order confirmation from Terralec by same payment method was immediate). Within a couple of days the order arrived.

While admiring their efficiency, I wasn't impressed, having cancelled the order by email clearly and immediately, so I phoned Terralec. The less than helpful response was that I should have phoned to cancel (I only didn't as I ordered online so contacted online). The only option I was offered was to return or keep it. I returned it, asking by letter with my return - for my full costs and return delivery costs to be paid for (as I had cancelled the contract before they had delivered it). Again I had no response to my letter and was duly refunded only the price of the case and not even the delivery cost paid to receive the order. Terralec's cancellation policy and terms are not clear online.

Reading the advice from which.co.uk regarding the Consumer Contracts Regulations, I believe Terralec failed to fully adhere to the regulations as they provided no information for cancelling an order before delivery and they failed to comply with an email (to their sales@terralec email address they provide), terminating the contract.

I hate to give negative feedback online as it seems spiteful but when a company appears not to follow customer regulations or even have the basic courtesy to respond to a (very reasonable!) customer, then you are left with no other option but to write a negative online review. Sorry!

Good Shop

I have been a customer of Terralec for about 2 years now
The staff Are so friendly. Once I bought A sub and they carried it to my car.
The first time I came I had ordered the wrong amp and they gave me the right one for no extra charge
And another time I went They even let me stay past their opening hours!

Overall a very good shop with very good staff and good prices Would always recommend this shop.
