Tried to take out a £17000…

Tried to take out a £17000 loan with the AA got approved after credit check. When filling out the application it needed permission to access my phone, I'm not the most tech minded but tried my best to give permission, while doing this AA decided I was no longer eligible for loan which was annoying enough but now the loan refused has affected my credit score and interest rates have gone up on other loan companies. Thanks AA.

Absolute joke of a company

Absolute joke of a company, online loan application was accepted but because I'd put 1 digit on my mobile phone number wrong (by accident) they couldn't progress the application any further and their systems wouldn't let them amend the number.

Told me I'd have to wait 28 days for loan application to expire and then re-apply, and also refused to remove the hard search on my credit file which reduces chances of future credit.

Avoid at all costs.

Disgusting company

Disgusting company. I took out a loan 4 years ago. I provided them with all the addresses I was at in the past 4 years yet I can't get through security over the phone apparently! Shocking. I've never had this problem with any business before. They are selling their business to some third party and I can't change my address to
my current one and my details will be sent in a letter to someone else now. Unacceptable!!!

If I could give ZERO stars I would

If I could give ZERO stars I would, absolute shambles my experience has been.
Got accepted for car finance.. 2 days later thought something was weird I called the dealership... the car had sold called aa they passed me from pillar to post, 5 days later I received my agreement for a different car signed the doted lines after apprently I couldn't confirm my ID even though I know my address dob etc.. then receive an email saying your application has been approved... I call back thinking that's weird I've signed.. turns out I hadn't been accepted YET even though I've given bank statment after bank statment they want you to jump through hoop after hoop.
1 week later I'm still no closer even though I've signed My agreement.. oh they also changed the APR from 9.9% to 19.90%.. avoid at all costs they can get in the bin.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. Had multiple issues with the online application, multiple phone calls with customer service team who were not helpful. Finally got an eligibility email of 99% through, so progressed with application. Then received an immediate unsuccessful application email, despite have a 999 Experian credit score with no negatives. Called customer services back as concerned the website issues had created multiple loan applications therefore effecting credit and automatic rejection, the lady was extremely unhelpful and unsympathetic. AA should NOT be advising a 99% eligibility and performing hard searches and automatically rejecting. Very unfair to do this to people.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Applied for a loan at 5.7% APR advertised. I have excellent credit score and can easily afford repayments. It's not until they do the full credit check that they tell you the actual APR, which was 8.8%, with no clear way to decline the offer. Had to call customer services who couldn't care less about the horrible experience. Unless you want a much higher rate than they advertise, with a full credit check on your history, avoid these charlatans at all costs. I'll be cancelling my AA membership as soon as it expires as well.

Really difficult experience although they approved the loan straight away, they raised the % from 5.7 too 9.8 no explanation, given I had started the process I continued. The amount of documents they wanted was unrealistic but I continued, uploaded then it wasn't enough in the end 1 week later I decided enough was enough, 2 days later half the hassle Tesco loans agreed without any issues so give this platform a wide berth

Avoid this company

Absolutely the worst company to borrow money from they don't want you to pay it off they have had me jumping through hoops to pay off saying I failed security I know my own name address and date of birth even after given bank details where my direct debit comes from. Then I have to send copy of my driving licence even still they won't let me pay it off as they now want a copy of the back of the licence. I get that GDRP is a big thing but I wouldn't know bank details of direct debit if it wasn't me. It's a absolute joke I wouldn't recommend this company to no-one. I could understand if I was trying to take out a loan but not to pay the balance off completey. Never had a problem with any company like this one.

Doesn't matter how good your rating is

Doesn't matter how good your rating is, How much you earn a month, How much interest rate you will accept. After wasting 1 month and after ruining your credit ratings the answer will be NO at the end.
I have Excellent credit ratings, I earn £3200 a month. Applied for £14000 loan and accepted, asked for required documents and provided, then told me your loan is approved and all documents accepted and money will be in your account in 3 days. 2 weeks later received a letter that your loan application is rejected as Financial conduct authority is not satisfied. I applied in Post office loan and received money into my account in 5 days.
Now the question is,
Why you approved loan?
Why you wasting my money on postage where you can easily receive docs via email?
Why you said we received all required docs and now you will receive money in 3 days?

PLEASE AVOID AA LOAN AND ALL OTHER SERVICES IF YOU WANT PEACE IN YOUR LIFE.

Unprofessional

Impossible to get hold of anyone other than a customer advisor who says they will pass on a message (which they don't.) 10 weeks trying to get a query resolved and keep getting told someone will get back to me each time with no avail. Avoid!!!

Shambles of a finance company

Applied for a loan 2 weeks ago. Said accepted and signed the electronic agreement. Have called about 4 times now and all I get told is they are looking at it. Had no correspondence from theaaloans at all. Absolutely shambles of a finance company and will also be reporting to the FCA.

Not impressed

Not impressed. Used email to confirm application received. Direct debit set up in bank but after no update on loan approval and not receiving anything rang to chase. Advised it was declined and a letter posted so just have to receive it at some point delaying things instead of using a single platform and sending an email as was initially done at the beginning of the process. Advised to ring credit rating agency to get a credit report even though I already have my own report and no specific information will be provided in letter when it is eventually as to why it would be declined so not exactly helpful to the customer for future reference.
Can't say I'm impressed with the change of platforms nevermind the direct debit notification on my bank account giving the impression the application was processed and approved only to have to chase and find out its actually not the case
