The art bench Reviews

Joined a zoom session last night, led by Tanyel, and had a fantastic time! Having no artistic flair, and not painted since college days (30+ years ago), I managed to create a painting I’m proud to hang in my home. Everything you need arrives in a carefully packaged box, including a little treat! Tanyel was an incredible tutor, gave excellent instructions and so much positive encouragement. Everyone was made to feel so welcome and it was the best evening I’ve had all year! I will definitely be doing another session! Thank you for such a great experience, I would absolutely recommend this to everyone!

Great session via Zoom to celebrate the festive season as a team-building and well-being event. We reflected afterwards that we didn’t mention work once! We were too engrossed in the fantastic experience and it was great to do something different this year. I love my painting and it was great to see how different they all turned out. Our host Tanyel was fantastic and so friendly. She made us all feel special and easily managed the group moving through different stages as we progressed with our paintings.

We had a fantastic Halloween half term art session with Emily and I couldn't recommend more. Varied, entertaining, engaging for the children (who are 5 years apart) and with lots of patience and personal attention even over zoom! We love the paintings and still have them on display now.

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her Halloween pack. Kept her occupied for hours. Great experience well recommend it.

Emily was amazing during the workshop and my daughter aged 7 absolutely loved it.

My 9 year old daughter took part in two wonderful Art Bench workshops in half term and had a wonderful time. Emily's tutorial was easy to follow and when extra help was needed she had lots of patience and reassurance. Not only does my daughter want to take part in further workshops I have been inspired to book on to a couple of adult ones! Very highly recommended.

Another happy and positive experience had with
The art bench! My 9yr old took part in one of their children’s workshops. My son really enjoyed creating his Halloween themed artwork!
He was very happy to be taught and guided through each stage by the lovely host/artist Emily and especially being encouraged and motivated after each step. He loved the structure and friendliness of the process and was made to feel confident to ask questions along the way.
Highly recommended for children with or without any level of art experience.
I have also attended 3 adult workshops myself to date, each time was very positive and enjoyable.
Affordable prices too.

Great kids workshop, my daughter really enjoyed the workshop and is happy with her painting. Emily ran the virtual workshop at a good pace for the children and was very clear with her instructions. Thank you for a great half term workshop. Would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

Taken part in two workshops so far. Loved them. Really good fun, look forward to taking part in more and improving my art!

Amazing! We love our Halloween craft kit 🎃

Highly recommending these wonderful, original and most enjoyable workshops.
Lovely professional hosts, showing you direction, while inspiring you to create freely.
Whether you are looking to brush up your creative talent or try something completely new you’ve always wanted to, you will be very satisfied. This was my second workshop with The art bench and I’m looking forward to many more! A wonderful way to relax and unwind in your own home, whilst escaping away to create your own painting! Affordable prices too. 😊

I had a great time doing a virtual painting class!! Everyone was nice and really helped me make my painting look good, it was a great way to spend an evening during lockdown!

I attended one of the online workshops. It was great. Had so much fun. I used gold leaf for the very first time. I also had a great host. Looking forward to the next workshop.

It was a great experience. I definitely recommend it. Teacher was excellent and the range of methods they teach you are good for beginners as well as the more experienced.

I am useless at art. My drawings and paintings are the worst. I attended a sip and paint class with my friends and it was great fun! The end result was amazing! (Glad there was a stencil provided for the intricate birds)

What a fun evening! Had a great time with The Art Bench on Valentine's evening doing something creative and enjoyable. 100% recommend!!

Had a unique experience, neon life drawing is completely new concept to me. I loved the atmosphere, low lights and the neon painted models was so much fun, I cant wait to do this again with my friends!

Truly an amazing experience for all levels. Reminded me why I fell in love with art in the first place.
