High Cost - Limited Commercial Value - Did Not Meet Expectations
Our experience with this awards programme was extremely disappointing. The entry and participation costs were significant, and from our perspective the structure felt heavily commercial.
As a finalist, the primary exposure we received was inclusion in a single Instagram post shared alongside multiple other brands and participation at an event.
For our business, this resulted in limited visibility and no measurable commercial return relative to the investment made - (nearly £3K).
When we encountered unexpected operational challenges, we found the payment terms to be inflexible despite explaining our situation. While we understand contractual obligations, we had hoped for a more collaborative approach.
There are alternative industry awards and recognitions available — including lower-cost and free-to-enter options — which have offered us much greater exposure which other brands may wish to explore before committing.
This programme may suit brands prioritising event attendance, but for us the commercial return did not justify the investment at all!
