DO NOT BUY FROM THE BED STATION as the…

DO NOT BUY FROM THE BED STATION as the address on both of their websites is bogus. We wasted our time traveling over 50 miles only to find out that nobody on the industrial estate had ever heard of them. Another retailer had told us that they had their trade accounts suspended due to severe price undercutting and they are unable to provide any goods once you have paid. These websites could be operated anywhere in the world by scammers using misleading business addresses. Also tried to email them and the messages just bounced back so this is definitely one to avoid.

Great customer service

Great customer service! Ok, so the bed didn’t arrive on the date that was originally specified on the website, and there was a problem when it was delivered, but the customer service I received was excellent. First I had an email quite soon after ordering to apologise that it would arrive later then planned. On the date of delivery, only one of the two boxes arrived. I emailed them and got a quick response to say they were looking in to it, then regular updates on what was being done to fix it. Once we’d put the bed together, there was a little issue with the ottoman section. Contacted them again and within 48 hrs we had replacement parts. I was really sceptical about ordering after the reviews online but they were really great. Especially Yulia who was quick to help and really friendly.

Ordered a bed and picked a day the next…

Ordered a bed and picked a day the next week for delivery. Tried to contact them via phone no one answers then delivery company contacts me late in the day to say they can deliver the next week Mon or Fri in my area. I said was no good and by this time wanted to cancel, they said and issues contact the seller, which I replied was impossible. They gave me a number to ring which was ' my next matress' the lady there pulled up my order she stated the company orders in and gets the courier's to deliver, They were not part of the above company so quite confused.
Still unable to contact the company the next day. Spoke again to the courier and arranged delivery for Mon. When arrived not the correct color as on web site. Have e-mailed them all week with different addresses but they keep getting sent back saying message not delivered !!! So I would advise steer clear of this company !!!

This company is disorganised

This company is disorganised. They can not seem to coordinate orders with deliveries. I cancelled my bed as it hadn't arrived on two separate days arranged for delivery. The bed then arrived almost a week after cancelling!

Great bed and better service

I placed an order with The Bed Station in December, bed said it was in stock and it would be delivered in 3-5 days. I placed the order and emailed customer services immediately to ask that the bed wasn't delivered for a couple of weeks. They informed me the bed was currently out of stock and they were waiting on confirmation of when it would be available from the manufacturer but should be available in 3 weeks. Matthew responded quickly and offered me with a refund if I didn't want to wait for the bed. The bed was almost £100 cheaper here than I had seen it elsewhere so I said I was happy to wait. I hadn't heard anything once the three weeks were up so I contacted customer services again and was told the bed would be available in a week's time and asked again if I was happy to wait or would I like a refund. Within 2 days of that email I received a text with a date for delivery.

The bed was delivered by the manufacturer and was actually two hours earlier than expected but that worked out well for us.

I honestly can't fault this company in the slightest and the customer service received by Matthew was great.

Miss information on web pages

Saw a bed that was what I needed and rang customer service that I would like to order. She said that the bed wouldn’t be in stock until mid February and that the price is now higher than what it says on their web page! I informed the lady that there was a company that was cheaper and would they price match as advertised..she said that it would be unlikely. I sent an email to the sales but am still waiting for a reply which I don’t expect. Leave this company alone..very poor on its sales techniques..very unreliable in replying to problems they created!!

Awful

Awful. Don’t even bother.
Ordered a bed and two mattresses.
Paid for two man delivery.
Bed didn’t turn up on the delivery day. And then the courier tried to tell me they would leave it in the garden.
Two mattresses still haven’t arrived.
Couriers are a nightmare. No communication.
Please be aware that when you order from this company they they ship the orders out to different manufacturers so nothing arrives together or on time.
I wish I had read these reviews before I placed my order.
Steer clear of this company.

If it says 'In Stock' it doesn't mean it is in stock

We were after a specific bed, it said it was in stock online so we bought it, we allowed a week, heard nothing. When we contacted the company via email they said the bed was out of stock, they didn't know when it would be back in stock and they would refund our payment.

On the same day as the email, I check ed the website and the bed is still showing as in stock. I phoned the company to confirm that it is actually not in stock but was only able to leave a message, it said they would call me, I left my number but I never got a call back.

Just beware, all is not what it seems.

I really wouldn't bother

This is the third time this company has made me drive out 50 miles to my renovation property to receive two beds to have nothing arrive. Sat in traffic all the way home after they didn't arrive by 5 pm Friday :( they have no tracking system and I tried calling but all you do is get through to am answer service. It took three days for them to call me back last time. My delivery should have taken 3-7 days from order. It's now been over 3 weeks. Painful experience. I still don't know when or even if they'll arrive.

No bed, no refund

Ordered a bed 10 days ago, they emailed me 4 hours later saying the bed was out of stock and they would refund me.

Still no refund and cannot get through to them when I call.

I will do a charge back with my credit company and advise anyone to not use this company.

the delivery guys were super helpful

the delivery guys were super helpful! 100% make them aware that their help was amazing. overall such a good experience. the bed came when it was supposed to and i was sent updates on where and when the bed would arrive on the day.

If it was possible to give 0 stars I…

If it was possible to give 0 stars I would have been really delighted.

Ordered a mattress on Friday, the 7th of May and
was expecting delivery as normal, but to my first
disappointment no one sent me any confirmation
for the expected date for delivery.
Contacted them the following Monday and was told
"they'll need to find out" when it would be delivered.
Fast forward a month later I chased and chased
and got an email from Mathew trying to explain why
it couldn't be delivered earlier I threatened I will
leave a detailed experience of the nonexistent

customer service I was receiving.
Received another email from Mathew offering a £25
reimbursement for all the grief I was receiving since
I was waiting over a month, and yet, I didn't even get
the reimbursement (after emailing twice reminding
him about it)
If it wasn't for the time already wasted I would have
asked to cancel the order.

This company is not fit for purpose.
Don't waste your money or time trying to do
anything with these lot, they don't care about
anything and cannot be reached on phone after
collecting your money.

AVOID.

Brilliant customer service and great product

I'm very happy with the day bed I ordered and the excellent customer service I received from Matthew. Matthew responded to my all my queries (regarding delivery dates) promptly and was very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate using this company again and highly recommend!

Choose a different middle man.

I ordered some furniture from their website that stated 7-10 day, free 2 man delivery. They make a big deal of the delivery part and its a big icon when you get to their product pages.

I ordered on the 1st Feb and chased them on the wed 12th Feb for an update. I recieved an email from Mathew and he said "it’s definitely with the delivery company they collected from us on Monday”

After 3 no shows from the delivery company (Keen and Able) I called Mathew telling him I wished to cancel the order unless he would organise a different delivery company, I felt I had been inconvenienced too much by them. He said he was completely unaware that I had not received my order and something about concerns over damage and convenience he use another delivery company so he felt it would be best to give a refund, which he did in full, the next day.

So why did i give one star? As I understand Bed station's role in my transaction was to order furniture from the manufacturer that I order from them, then organise the delivery.
In affect they do the least in the transaction, they have no showroom no stores and hold no stock but have positioned themselves to get a portion of the profit by acting as a middle man, fair play. However as a customer if someone uses: free 7-10 day, 2 man delivery as a selling point, they should put some effort into making sure that part of the transaction happens and if it doesn’t that should be taking the lead in finding out why, and where possible organising solutions.
Saying “I didn’t know anything about this” isn’t an excuse it’s an admission that you not only failed to to deliver the service you advertise but didn’t really care.
