I too have had an email this morning saying I owe £732, even though the original amount Together Energy said I owed was £140. I proved that was untrue (I didn't owe a penny) and the case was closed after the Ombudsman got involved back in 2017.

Inaccurate letters sent alleging money owed to Together Energy. No response to letters and emails proving otherwise. Moneysavingexpert is aware of this

I bet no one has received a bill for £8,999!!! I have ,laughable ! and I’m not contacted them based on these reviews.
See you In court if they like to pursue.
There is no money owed.
British Gas took over this company and I continued paying them on DD.
Please get your information factual before contacting and harassing people .

Had an email last week claiming I owe them £87 from my together energy bill, threatening for it go go up and my credit score be impacted and debt collectors will be sent round. Sent back a screenshot of my last bill I paid and not heard back since. Extremely stressful time as I had the same thing from together energy claiming I hadn’t paid my bill also when I actually paid my last one back in September. I can’t believe it’s still ongoing , please leave me alone !

Sent them proof my debt was paid off by the British Gas trust fund and some stupid girl called Georgia has said they won’t accept it and that I still owe the money well if she thinks I’m paying it when it’s already been paid off she’s off her head

I received an email three weeks ago from Barrett Smith & brown saying they had been informed by the administrators of Together Energy I owed £149.51. If i didn't pay within 7 days the amount would increase. Together Energy was a firm I received energy from up to 2 years ago before they went bust. My last transaction with them was a credit of £140. I have phoned the debt company 4 times and the line rang out. I managed to get through twice and left a message - no one got back to me. I found their email on line and sent a message, again no one got back to me. I found on their website a means to request a call back....still no response. I am sure this may be a scam, but can't understand why the firm have not got back to me. I am 73 years of age on a pension, and this is causing me a lot of stress.

They sent me an email demanding £119 for money apparently outstanding from an electricity account that I ended nearly two years ago but without any proof of explanation whatsoever. Two emails sent to them requesting details have gone unanswered as has the telephone message I left after holding the line for 30 minutes.
This is despite paying by direct debit to Together energy and receiving a refund from them when I changed providers and having no communication from them or their administrators, FRP Advisory!
It's shocking that a company so bad can be allowed to actually operate in this particular field without regulators !!

I am being told I owe Together Energy £70. I however have email and proof on my bank statement I actually received a REFUND due to credit balance on account.
Can't decide which com0any is worse Together Energy for the lies or this shower of threatening, demanding, rude a.holes

Someone needs to shutdown.this website is this is fake. I got an email to pay an outstanding balance of 2.51, which does not add up to anything I remember owing.

Telling me, like others who have commented, that I owe Together Energy money. I had never heard of them. Checked them out and they went out of business over a year ago (not suprised) I've told these uneducated people that I have never been with that company and have been with "blah" supplier for 5 years if not more. I asked them for proof of debt, proof of ownership of the debt, and proof of dates and payments made from me. They reply to me asking me for proof that I haven't been with this company. Seriously??? I have let them know I will be filing a complaint to OFGEM. Looking forward to their reply to that.

I’ve been trying to contact them about a supposed bill I have with together energy. I’ve emailed, called (unable to leave messages as the voicemail box it full). I’m at a loss! How can you dispute a bill when no one is there to answer.

This is not acceptable. Chasing money not owed owed, threatening e-mails, no available contact. Come on! This should be illegal, I feel really sorry for all the elderly people.

I have just received an email from Barratt, Smith & Brown who claim to be acting on behalf of the administrators for Together Energy chasing an outstanding balance. In reality I transferred to another supplier before Together Energy went into administration and at the time I was several hundred pounds in credit. I tried to call on the number provided but it just cuts out. Either this is a scam or Barratt, Smith & Brown are incompetent administrators.

In my opinion this company is essentially an elaborate phishing exercise. They contacted me out of the blue about a fiction debt because together energy had my email on file. Worst part is they have completely the wrong address and are basically threatening to send debt collectors to some completely random house unless I cough up £300. They are not responding to emails or phone calls, including a GDPR subject access request. Do not give these people money.

So much like a lot of reviews on here, apparently I owe £150 to Together Energy through Look After My Bills.

Checked my old emails and two years ago I received a refund on my final bill from Together Energy!
Pretty unlikely I owe them money!
Can't get on to Barretts Scammer Browns website and I have better things to do than chasing these scammers all day!!

I'm unable to contact them at all. there's only one contact number that I’ve tried many times, however this is constantly engaged. I've emailed them, However these companies are not interested in listening to anyone's issues. They just want money and will simply direct you to the payment page. They have no morals.

I Had a dispute with Together Energy before they went into administration and a got passed to British Gas.

Together Energy had not kept me in check with my direct debit amount and I had a dept of £1,100. I had advised from the start that I was unable to getvinto debt and they assured me That I was paying enough for my usage. I took this to the Service Ombudsman who simply told them that they had failed in their customer care. Advised them and I that I owed nothing more than 12 months prior to increasing my DD. However although Together Energy agreed giving me £100 Good will gesture and an apology letter, they ejected £3K into my account putting my in credit at the point agreeing their wrong doing. So this meant that they couldn’t subtract anything from my debt, as I was now £1,700 in credit. As expected and I advised the service ombudsman that no more than 6 weeks later they then charged me £3K for my gas. putting me back in debt. How can such a large company commit such a obvious fraudulent act. The Service Ombudsman said that they must still to stick to what they agreed originally. However they dithered about until going bust. I wouldn't mind this company taking me to court, where I can show all my evidence. However I feel they'll just keep sending emails and slow mail increasing the amount every time until they send bailiffs to collect a sum four times the original amount. That's just how they work, but make out it's my fault for ignoring them. All they time when you try to call them, if it's not engaged you're automatically transferred to the payment options.

Scam. Not got any outstanding debt. Preying on the vulnerable. Reported to ombudsman.

Glad I read some of these reviews. Just received the dreaded Email notification that I owe £166.55 for non-payment of administration costs Together Energy. Never been with Together Energy. Tried to Email back several times using the official (if that is the case!!) website asking for prove of non-payment for an Energy Provider I have never been with!! Needless to say Emails bounce back 'Undeliverable'. This needs to be reported to the relevant authorities and they need to take the necessary action to stop this practice. Low life pieces of SCUM!!
Needless to say I will now delete the Email and please do not Pay any money to these thieves!

SCAMMERS! DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY!

Sent an email from this company yesterday regarding a supposed debt from when I was a Together Energy customer. Suspiciously, it was for exactly the same amount that the direct debit was for that my bank cancelled the week previously due to inactivity.

However, I stopped being a customer before they went bust and all accounts were settled.

I have contacted British Gas and they can't even open my old Together Energy account and are quite happy that nothing is owned.

Have now sent an email asking them to either prove I owe the money or acknowledge that they is no debt. They have eight weeks before the ombudsman is contacted to reply.
