marvellous cheeses but they arrived in a non-recylable foiled pouch so have to mark them down for that.

We’re so happy you enjoyed your cheeses — thank you for your feedback about the packaging! I’m extremely conscious about keeping things as recyclable as possible. Our boxes and paper are made from recycled materials, which does come at quite a cost for a small business like ours.
Eco-friendly chilled infills are even pricier, so for now, the foil pouches are the most practical option to keep things affordable and chilled for our customers. I’m always on the lookout for better, greener solutions, but with prices constantly rising, it’s a real challenge to stay competitive.

Excellent cheese and communication
I ordered a Lincolnshire cheese selection for delivery as a present. The Cheese Society’s service was excellent - the cheese, the speed of processing the order and their communication were first rate. There was a problem with the delivery which was the fault of the courrier - the Cheese Society were in touch with me very regularly and they have recently decided to change their courrier service provider to ensure a better delivery service in the future.

Hi Ray, thank you for your kind review. We've had no end of issues with couriers being unreliable, most recently with DHL since they merged with Evri. They went from being good to terrible! We've switched to Royal Mail/ParcelForce this week, and so far, we've seen a significantly better delivery success rate. Fingers crossed this may continue, and our delivery woes are over. We hope you try us out again.

Another brilliant experience with The Cheese Society. The selection of cheese and snacks are delicious, and arrived well packaged with cool packs. The package was slightly delayed (fault of the courier, not The Cheese Society) but someone from their team took the time to send a personalised note with information about this. Delighted and will happily purchase from The Cheese Society again.

Your cheese is always marvellous to receive, however the Gruyère was somewhat underripe and didn’t do justice to the fondue. The other cheeses were fab.
