Excellent zoom Xmas cheese tasting session. Really good cheeses with wine and cake with deep knowledge of cheese, processes and makers from Andy.

My daughter received a gift from her sister of courtyard special cheddar. It arrived well pack with storage instructions. However it was very dry and brittle and disappointing. It probably was cut from the round a long time before.

Lovely shop, great experience

They keep changing my account email and password whenever I place an order. I get no response from customer service but they are happy keeping my banking details. It's annoying because I was recommended them and have tried some cheese from a neighbour but it seems futile for me to even attempt to place an order or sign up for a subscription when they refuse to communicate and simply make my account inaccessible.

Ordered the cheese and charcuterie box as a gift for my son. He's absolutely delighted with the products. I'm told the cheeses are delicious but the fennel salami (he's still got the other cured meats to try) was sublime. Lucky locals having this on their doorstep.

Great place to visit and try some fantastic cheeses before you decide which ones to buy. Have also bought on-line and cheese arrives on time and well packed. Great customer service too as when I needed to change a delivery date it was all sorted within half an hour.

Been a cheese lover all my life so was looking forward to visit. Freezing cold due to air con. Thought cheese should be served at room temperature. Offered three cheeses to taste all horrid like cardboard very disappointed. Could be down to temperature. Won't go again.

Wonderful place! I took the one day cheesemaking course there yesterday and it was really fantastic! I had a little experience of cheesemaking already but this course taught me so much. It was really enjoyable and very well led by Andy who clearly has a very deep knowledge of his craft. We made cheddar, Ste Maure and ricotta. He manages to make learning great fun too. Highly recommended.

We have stopped many times on our journeys to the Lake District to buy cheese from this fabulous shop.

At Christmas we ordered a luxury cheese hamper for our hosts it was delivered to them on time, unfortunately it contained a cheese that had to be recalled.
After a nudge we received very generous compensation so we ordered another hamper, I emailed to change the delivery address at the last minute, this was no problem.

The cheese arrived within exactly the time slot promised, beautifully packaged and in tip top condition.

A company with attention to detail, great customer service and wonderful cheese.

Oh my word, the cheese here is absolutely delicious. We've had cheese from the Courtyard Dairy before and have ordered some to arrive in December, recently. I can't wait. Really useful that you can choose your exact delivery date in advance, too.

I have also very recently ordered some postal vouchers to give as a gift. I was worried it might be a bit short notice so rang to check what they thought. What a friendly and efficient service. I got all the help I needed and the vouchers were posted to me straight away, arriving in plenty of time. Would thoroughly recommend.

The staff have a real passion for their products & are so well informed!
They stock my favourite Hebden goats cheese at the cheapest price.
Also the truffle pecorino is to die for!

Just had the virtual cheese and wine tasting experience. Excellent cheeses and great to try the white wine that went so well with them. Andy was a perfect host throughout the tasting with his knowledge and love of his craft.

We were gifted a virtual cheese and wine tasting and chose the traditional one - what an experience. The wine was excellent, but the cheese and the video by Andy were brilliant; knowledgeable and insightful with delicious cheeses, delivered perfectly in environmentally friendly packaging. Top draw. Would recommended to anyone!

Lovely people, obviously committed to their craft and wonderful customer service. I've bought from them for some years. The cheese is wonderful too. Kept and matured with care and superbly sourced. Cannot recommend The Courtyard Dairy highly enough. I had a problem with the courier's just before Christmas (not their fault. Snow had delayed things) and they bent over backwards to help. If you buy from them you'll not regret it.

What a fantastic evening, we did the virtual blue cheese and port tasting.

I wasn't sure what to expect but the cheeses were amazing and the port equally as good. Certainly well worth the money and Andy was so knowledgeable. Anyone looking for a gift that is something a little bit different this is certainly it. Couldn't recommend them enough. 👌

Had a bit of a hiccup with a Cheese Hamper I ordered, however, all ended fine, staff were great, cheeses are delicious. Can’t wait to visit the shop.
