AVOID!
AVOID!
After purchasing a garden BBQ kitchen it has been nothing but hassle.
Purchasing the BBQ which was all good, and I was told the BBQ would be delivered and assembled on arrival.
Delivery men then told me on the day of the delivery a new email had came out and they no longer assembled this item.
Called customer services and had to go through many emails to get them to send someone out.
They sent someone out who assembled the BBQ for me (very nice men) and on inspection one of the panels is a different colour from all of the rest of the BBQ,minding this BBQ,kitchen was very expensive.
Here we go again back and forth to CS and all they kept telling me was that I wasn't covered. I have sent them photos and still they will not help me with this situation.
Very frustrating 😕
I certainly will not shop with this company again!
Customer service appauling.
Really friendly and helpfull in shop

Please think carefully before purchasing from The Designer Rooms – my experience
Before posting this, I wanted to give The Designer Rooms every opportunity to resolve this privately. I contacted them directly and explained that I wanted to avoid having to share my experience publicly. I was advised that my case had been reviewed, however I am still waiting for a manager to contact me directly. Unfortunately, communication has been limited to customer service responses via email and WhatsApp, and I have not been able to speak to anyone who can resolve my concerns.
I honestly never expected to have to write something like this, but I feel I have nowhere else to turn.
I purchased garden furniture from The Designer Rooms after speaking to their store over the phone. I specifically asked if the furniture was new and was told it was.
When the furniture arrived, I was devastated. It had significant damage, missing parts, a missing silver tray for the fire pit, and the wrong fire pit stones were supplied. I have 31 photographs showing the condition of the furniture on delivery.
The stones supplied are slate-coated stones, which I have concerns about from a safety point of view, especially as I have two young children. Despite raising this with the company, nobody has contacted me to offer a replacement or resolve this concern.
I have tried repeatedly to resolve this directly with The Designer Rooms, but my complaint has been refused. They state the furniture was clearance stock and that I was aware of the condition before purchase, which I dispute.
I asked for the original sales call to be reviewed, but I was told calls are not recorded. I have provided evidence of the condition the furniture arrived in, but I am still left without a resolution.
I am extremely disappointed and upset I have been left feeling like I have nowhere else to turn other than sharing my experience and taking the matter further.
With their sale currently running, I would urge anyone considering purchasing to please ask detailed questions, get everything confirmed in writing, and make sure you fully understand the condition of any item before paying.
I hope this post helps someone else avoid the stress and disappointment I have experienced.
