Hi, my name is Sonia. I booked a 5 bedroom villa through Goavilla. The assistance given to us was in a very professional yet on a friendly note. We were given all the necessary information about the location. When we arrived, our car was arranged and when we came to the villa it was exactly the same as the pictures. The caretaker and the other staff was very helpful and met all our needs. The chef provided cooked really good dishes and we were all satisfied with the perfect service.

I and my husband availed of the villa for three days. The moment we stepped into the complex we liked the greenery and the vibe. Our villa was beautiful, clean and well-kept. With a small backyard, nice view, effective ACs and a fully equipped modular kitchen, we felt quite at home. The booking agent Ms. Karen was helpful, the caretaker Mr. Sandeep was approachable and the maid was efficient. A good place for those who wish for a home away from home, even though being an old building it does lack some basic hotel-like conviniences like hooks behind the doors and curtains at some windows. You would have to cook or eat out as there's no home delivery. On the whole however the feel of a home - neat, pretty, comfortable and just a little less immaculate - is what one goes for while hiring a villa, isn't it? With two pools, the river and beach both 300 m away one couldn't ask for a better location. A pleasant and memorable stay and one I would recommend to those seeking peace and privacy.

There was prompt follow-up via email and phone till we made the initial deposit. But no one cared to respond back even after leaving multiple messages with their office staff to do reservation follow-up. The initial deposit has no meaning since they don't share any information about the villa till the non-refundable full payment is made. Their website does not take international credit cards and it is for a purpose. Going through the reservation process was totally unprofessional and gave us a glimpse of their poor management. Still decided to go ahead with the full payment since a good initial deposit was already made, the villa we selected looked beautiful in pictures, right on the beach and ideal for our vacation. We knew the service would be mediocre at best and did not have high expectations. We were also offered free pickup from the airport.

The worst started once we landed there. There was no free airport pickup and the villa we reserved was rented out to someone else. Instead we were assigned another scaled down villa, much in the interiors and not to our taste. We asked for a full refund and contemplated moving to a different villa. We were on the phone talking to multiple people in their management for over 3 hours and were told there will be no refund even when they do NOT provide the villa we reserved.

We took the villa which was offered. It was an average villa and did not feel like the big bucks we paid for. The pool was dirty and next day saw their cleaning staff pouring the dirty water from around the pool into it. Did not use the pool.

Our first day of our vacation got lost in dealing with the awful management and did not get the villa we reserved. When you go on a vacation with family, spending 40-50k per night, it is the last thing you want. It was a horrible experience. Would recommend everyone to stay away from them.
