AWFUL COMPANY - AVOID

I had a playhouse delivered from this place and there were parts missing , also the assembly instructions were very poor - just a bad photocopy.. I had to buy some wood and make the missing parts myself, really not what I was expecting for £450..

My phone calls regarding the complaint were supposed to be referred to the managing director but I never received a call back, the number given for the director was never answered.. E-mails I sent to addresses listed on the website were initially replied to then ignored as were e-mails to the director.. I tried contacting them via their twitter account and was subsequently blocked by them with no response to my very polite request for a reply,..

This went on for over 200 days before I just gave up..

The extra mile

I feel guilty, because I should have written a review for this excellent company a couple of months ago. However, we were in the middle of moving house, then Christmas came along, and this task kept getting pushed back.

Anyway, my wife purchased a personalized book as part of our little grand-daughter's Christmas. We noticed, the same afternoon, that the wording was not quite what we wanted. We decided that we wanted the book to be exactly right, so we decided to write off the money for the incorrect book, and I re-ordered the book with the changed wording. That same evening, I received a phone call from Kids Window, pointing out that we had ordered the same book twice. I explained the situation and the first order was cancelled and we were only charged for the one book. How many of the major online retailers would have done this? None, I am prepared to guess. On top of that very thoughtful, personal service - definitely going the extra mile - the little book was superb. Well made and very cleverly and thoughtfully designed.

Excellent

I bought 3 different titles and LOVED every one of them. I have bought many personalised books over the years and feel these are the best yet. The books themselves have a story-line involving all the children/adults, with their photo, which is simple enough to read to a younger one but can also be read and enjoyed independently by an older child . The customer service was EXCELLENT and I have already recommended this book to others.

lovely toddler bed, for my grandson's christmas!

Ordered this bed from Thekidswindow for my 17 month old grandson. It came promptly without problems via UPS tracked service, delivered to my daughter's address, was well packed and arrived at the time and date specified.

My daughter assembled it easily herself and it is a well made and sturdy little first bed. The cot mattress we had is slightly too small for it (70cm x 120cm) so would recommend buying one slightly larger than for a standard cot.

My grandson was thrilled with his new 'boat' and has eagerly gone to bed every night from the very first bedtime and is doing his countdown sleeps til santa. Star buy, and the good nana award goes to me for finding it :) :) :)

Not happy

Received my son's new car bed damaged. Its two weeks since we emailed and nothing has happened. Absolutely awful experience and product looks cheap even though we paid more than £500 for it! Have no confident that we will get our money back or exchange product. A cowboy company! Will be going be going to Ofcom depending on out come. So upset about this since it's a Christmas present!

Beautiful

Good luck with delivery-AVOID

They use a company called XPD. They dont turn up when promised and both companies are impossible to get hold of. Our mattress turned up exactly one week after cancelling the order after waiting in 3 days for the delivery.

AVOID AT ALL COST!

Mattresses are not fit for purpose. Springs poking through. Had to buy toppers to put on as they are so uncomfortable so I am even more out of pocket. They have refused to refund or replace despite being obliged to do so under consumer rights laws. Currently going through process of taking them to court and being investigated by Trading Standards.
AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COST!!! ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED! LOOK AT THE OTHER BAD REVIEWS. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND SAVE YOURSELF A LOAD OF HASSLE!

Seaside children's armchair

I brought this armchair for my 17 month old son and he absolutely loves it, as do I! The delivery came within the allocated time and looks very well made. I love the fact ALL the covers can be taken off and washed! And even buy replacement covers if needed. This armchair was definitely worth the money as it will last a long time.

avoid at all costs

I ordered a mclarens car bed for my grandsons christmas on the 30th of november the day they took my money they then informed me it was out of stock until the new year asked them for a refund and almost 2 weeks later im still waiting i have tried emailing customer services no response ive tried phoning several times trying all 3 departments even at 9am when they supposedly open the customer service phoneline lines are always busy i have left my name and phone number which they say the will reply to the same day yeah right still waiting im now almost £300 pound out of pocket and no bed for my grandson thanks for ruining my grandsons christmas as a childs company you should be ashamed of yourselves kids window will never use this company again and will do my upmost to make sure nobody else uses your company either disgraceful way to treat customers

absolutely disgraceful

i ordered a four poster bed for my daughter, looks great on the web site, asked the, for more images
did not have any, placed the order, had no details of when the delivery was going to take place
once the delivery arrived, opened up the packaging and the bed frame was damaged

have tried to get in touch them a numerous amount of times, no luck,

last week thursday i tried and friday no answer
still no answer

yesterday out of the blue with no communication i have a delivery driver turn up on my door step to pick up the bed whilst i was at work, i mean seriously and he left a note that he called a number of times

he called at 11.07 and was outside at 11.07
talk about giving your customers some notice


communication is appaling
products are ridiculous rspecially when you spend alot of money for your child and they turn out like they have arrived from a dump

tried to communicate with them to arrange an exchange, they state there not able to which in fact they can, take the old bed away and deliver a new 1

but its due to go back now on thursday and i have nothing for my daughter to sleep on now

thanks alot kids window

and you are supposd to specialise in kids products


absolute joke


will never use you again

the sooner i get my refund the better.

Poor Courier Service

Ordered a bed frame for my daughter, 1st delivery arrived minus all items. Customer services quickly resolved this. On unpacking however items damaged. Customer services resolved this. Replacement delivery arrived today. The packaging was seriously damaged and upon inspection the bed frame (which is metal) looks like it has been dragged across the floor and is in worst condition that then first one! There is either a problem with the supplier whose stock is damaged or the courier who isn't taking sufficient care when moving the items - I am currently awaiting a response!

Simply appalling!!!

Do not be tempted to do business with this "Mob"!
My credit card was debited on 1/12/15 - within 24hrs of placing the order. Since then numerous 'phone calls and emails remain unanswered!

The company claim to have no record of my order so why did they take the money!!!

Thanks for ruining a child's Christmas!

Are all the positive reviews genuine or an attempt to disguise all the negative feedback from real people??

No delivery!!! Non existent service, worst company I've dealt with!!!!

I can't believe after the non existent service and no show of goods that you have sent me a request for a review, but here goes.
I purchased a berg go Kart for my daughters Xmas around the 24/11. I've tried in vain to get someone to call me from both XDP -the courier company and the kids window. I've had to get my money back via my bank due to the only email ive received from you having no substance with regards to my goods whereabouts and when they should be delivered from the kids window. All you get is the run around "oh we will chase them up". Nonsense, in this day in age if you don't have a clue where your customers goods are get rid of the courier company you are using. Its pathetic.
Your quick to take my money but absolutely useless at picking up the phone and or getting to the bottom of your problems.
Anyway lesson learnt- never buy from kids window and avoid any retailer who uses XDP. If you need to discuss pick up the phone but then again you need to learn how to do that!!!
