THE PANORAMIC DOOR COMPANY 

I am very pleased with the attention Panoramic Doors has given my project. Virtually the whole of the back of the house is glass doors and windows, and the effect is stunning. Over a long. Build the company has become a welcome, integral part of the team. Use them!

I recently completed a major house build which required 24 new aluminium windows/doors, including two sets of bifolds and a large bespoke floor-to-ceiling window.

I first spoke to the Panoramic Door Company when the house was still a design on paper, and they were brilliant from start to finish. With a lot of decisions to be made, they were a great help when choosing the product and design for each unit. Then, working around some tight deadlines and rather awkward builders over a period of months, they managed to get all windows and doors installed on time and without a hitch - quite an achievement given the attention to detail required. The spec and sizing of every unit had to be checked and double checked before ordering, and numerous amendments made along the way.

Amidst the general confusion of the building works, I knew I didn’t have to worry about the windows/doors as Barry could be relied upon to keep things on track. He clearly takes great pride in his work and nothing is too much trouble. And the service is ongoing - since installation, I’ve had a couple of minor snags which have been quickly addressed.

I am very surprised to see a couple of less-than-satisfactory reviews from other customers. I can’t rate PDC highly enough for their efficiency, knowledge, competence and friendliness, and would definitely use them again. And the quality of the windows/doors from Origin can’t be faulted. Many thanks to the whole PDC team for their flawless service!

Excellent service and price. They are really proud of their workmanship and made numerous visits and calls to make sure the installation went to plan. We never had to chase for snags as the fitters came and checked the work and corrected anything they weren't happy with.

Had a couple of issues with the doors and windows but they were manufacturing issues. Dan and Barry made sure the issues were dealt with rapidly. Wish we had used them for previous window installations and will definitely use in the future

We used the PDC to supply and fit a three door Origin bifold in our extension. We asked them to provide the door after our builder couldn’t supply the spec we wanted.

Despite all of the challenges put in both our way and theirs by the builder, the PDC stood up to the task of providing and fitting the doors to a very high standard and to the very tight timescales set (two weeks including glass with integrated blinds). This was particularly challenging given the demands of the builder throughout. Nothing was too much for Bob, Barry or Dan who were always happy to try and remove any stress by dealing with the builder direct and even arrived on the first day of the build to ensure all could and would run smoothly.

Our experience has been outstanding, the doors are the highlight of our new lounge and we would recommend the PDC to anyone looking for an expertly fitted bifold door and great service to boot.

I contacted the Panoramic Door Company Ltd, to get a 3 panel bi-fold door installed for our home.

I contacted 5 firms to provide a quote and it was their sales commitments on their website of matching quotes and providing excellent service that made me decide to select them. It was agreed from the day of survey that the doors would be with us in 2 weeks.

As agreed, a surveyor came out and he was knowledgeable. Measurements were taken and the doors were ordered. The price that followed was not in line with the original quote. There was a £200+ increase in price but overall we were still on board to use them due to their lead time.

We were contacted by PDC with an install date. A few hours later they called back to say they could actually install the doors 1 day earlier as all the parts arrived for the install, but we stuck to the agreed date.

The day before the install I received a call to say that only the doors arrived and none of the glass. We agreed to have the doors installed on the Friday knowing on Monday the glass would arrive as promised. This is while having my house exposed to the elements with no real cover being put in place.

Monday came and no glass arrived. I was told they would arrive on Tuesday. Tuesday came, no glass. Finally after a 4 day delay and more days off work the glass finally arrived but the glass units were faulty.

2 Weeks later the final units arrived which was replaced but scratching the door frames.

Overall it was a shambolic experience and I would seriously recommend people look elsewhere to get bi-fold doors. After all they sell another firms product on therefore their business rely on value added which we received very little.
