A scam

Unless you live in the UK, don't come near that shop. I ended up paying nearly 50% of the price in tax and duty. The owner asked me to pay a 68 pounds bill addressed to him, leading me to believe that this was the custom duty, whilst he knew full well that another 115 pounds would be asked later to enable delivery. Totally unscrupulous!

I bought a T-rex head for £600.

I bought a T-rex head for £600.

1. The shop didn't contact me to ask about the colour I wanted, so I ended up with a brown one. OK, the website says I should contact them with my preference, but in my opinion, they could have contacted me. I suppose it's the difference between the usual customer service and excellent customer service.

2. More importantly the T-rex skull arrived damaged, the packaging was so inadequate for something so fragile and expensive.

3. It took longer than the indicated time on the site, no big deal though, It's not like I was in a rush for it.

4. I submitted a 2 star review on their site highlighting the issues and they didn't publish my 2 star review, so their review system is completely NOT impartial and not to be trusted.

They also didn't reach out to me about my issues, that's why they now get a 1 star review on TP.

Thanks

Peter
