NEVER ORDER!!!!!!

So far I have been very impressed with this company. I am in the process of rebuilding a w140 and being a 1992 model, parts are getting hard to find and also very expensive. I've been able to find parts for reasonable prices from The Slshop that are being sold elsewhere at ridiculous numbers.. Obviously I won't find every nut and bolt but it's definitely the first place I go looking for things. Highly recommend them.

Why does the SL Shop charge over £28 to send small packages via 48hr Parcel Force? I recently ordered a roof release cable from SL Shop for an extortionate price but to add insult to injury they charge £28.75 to send it to me! Long story short….It was late arriving and was returned for exchange for less expensive after market part (50% less) for £5.79….almost £23.00 less than I was charged for shipping. And mine was 24hr Royal Mail……I have to say that they did refund the original £28.75 but still charged another £28.75 for the replacement item. So, while the SL Shop has a good reputation in many departments, they appear to be profiteering with their shipping charges. If Royal Mail can deliver a 10kg medium size package for £7.79, why are the SL Shop charging 400% more, for a mere 500g package??? Someone is taking the Michael 😱

Oliver and the team at the service department at the SL Shop certainly delivered and more. Replaced the boot rubber seal on my 1977 Mercedes Benz 350SL in less than two hours - solved the rattling noise from the back and the annoying smell of exhaust fumes when the drivers window was down - has completely gone.
They deliver what is says on the tin and more.
As Arnold said in the movie - “I’ll be back”.
