I think this course is great. It is informative, well structured and the materials are relevant. The reading portions are precise and gets straight to the point so the 150 hours course flew by. The 3 assignments that you do on unit 5, 7 and 10 are very doable so long as you write good notes as you read all the units from 1-10. Overall I think this course is good value for money and serves as a great starting point for beginner teachers like me.

My experience with The TEFL Academy was very good in many ways. The material is neatly and clearly presented. There were 10 different units and each unit and 3 sub-units and these sub-units has small exercises to see if we have understood the lesson.
The end of lesson tests were also very good. It required us to think and then answer. The assignments submitted were corrected with feedback given and sent back within 2-4 days.
On the whole, I recommend this Academy if we want to become a English as a foreign language tutor.

The TEFL Academy made it easy to learn how to teach, things were not over complicated and they always gave the option for more help if you still did not understand some of the work. They had people go over your assignments and they made sure they offered help in every way possible so that you could pass and be able to teach.
