The UK Deed Poll Office Reviews 

I truly believe this company to be disgusting. I decided to look into getting my son’s surname changed but I didn’t know my rights or the true legalities. I came across the uk deed poll office and it seemed ok, all above board etc. So I filled my details in and my son’s. However when I got to the end I decided I’d best not go ahead with it all until I knew what my rights were. So I left the webpage. Similar to shopping online. You put items in your basket but then don’t go ahead and buy them. Minutes later I received an invoice to my email account. I ignored this as I knew I wasn’t going ahead with it yet. A few hours later I got a call from the office in London asking why I’d not paid. I explained why and asked them to delete it all for now. The rude agent replied ‘it won’t be for now. It’ll be forever. You are barred from ever using us again!’
I got a text from them confirming this too several minutes later.. ‘I am barred for Life!’ Well I sure won’t lose any sleep over this. But what a way to run a Business!! Rude, demanding, unprofessional. Please don’t bother with this disgrace of a company!!!

Absolute waste of time and money. i applied for my Deed Poll 17.09.2022, i was supposed to have received my Deed Poll name change with 3 copies 21.10.22, i have still not received them. i have written 2 emails and called them, I have also been on live chat,
surprise Suprise, they had no one available to help me.
UPDATE
I had a conversation via text message who said they were very sorry, they have raised a missing item report with Royal Mail, they processed another Deed Poll name change for me which I have now received .

Appalling service and poor quality documents

I got a Deed Poll from this place in December 2020. I have tried to give them a review on Google and to write to them to say thank you but it looks like they are closed. It's such a shame as they were absolutely brilliant. There Deed Polls are at a really reasonable and competitive price and very professionally done. I know people say that you can do it yourself for free but it's actually really hard to do because people do not understand that anyone can do a Deed Poll and they that you have to apply for it. My Deed Polls was delivered in two days in a wallet with a pamphlet of all the organisations that you need to tell etc and a guide on what to do. It was so easy to do and cut out so much hassle. I was able to change my name with pretty much everyone within a month (this includes getting my driving licence updated and back and this was during the Xmas period). I say 'pretty much' because I haven't done my passport yet due to finances and COVID. Although my bank said on the website that you need to take in your driving licence before they can change your name, they did it before I got my driving licence with just my Deed Poll when I went into the branch. I had absolutely no issues apart from a mail order company who I sent it to via email and she said that she 'couldn't see the stamp' (you don't need it to be stamped) but did it anyway as I wouldn't argue with her. I just want to say that this is a really reputable company. They were so efficient and professional. Also, if you research them, they have really good ethics and if you look at their google reviews where people have complained as they have confused them for a different company, they actually reply and investigate it (proper look into it) and are really polite (even if people are quite rude) compared to other Deed Poll services who charge loads of money and then if people complain just reply saying you 'you must have confused us for a cheap online company'. I really rate this company and thank them a lot for making my name change so quick, easy and hassle free!!!

Received incorrect documents I sent emails to query and at 1st I received a response apologising that they would rectify. Since sent emails to chase and no response. THe phone number does not work and the office in London has now moved to Exeter. The website no longer works. I fear I have been scammed for about £30 and they have my personal details.

never get back to my email or the chat online. they took the money but not reply to any email or chat.. I wonder why they say email or chat online? its scam

I applied to get my son's name changed via this company and cannot fault their service. I thoroughly recommend them.

Very professional documentation and service; arrived in 2 days. A trusted company that I would highly recommend.

After research with a lot of companies and tempted by cheaper ads I decided to pay the extra and use The UK deedpoll office, they are trading standards approved and registered with the NDPA. Excellent communication via email and all queries answered with a quick response. All documents arrived within 3 days and very professional and of the highest quality they have been accepted everywhere upto date.

Waste of Time and Money
I applied for the services 10 days ago and there is no sign of the documents yet. The usual, they dont take phone calls, dont respond emails. There is no customer services. This is not an unauthorised company!, there is an article at the Guardian. do some research

Very Cheap and Very Quick and was accepted by my bank and the HMRC
