Having discovered This Works In Transit Camera Close-Up in my M&S Advent Calendar I loved the smell, look and feel of it and was keen to order some more. I used Amazon for ease and it took me to the This Works website. The product was delivered on Wednesday and although it looks legitimate in terms of the packaging it has no smell and is nothing like the fresh/essential oil smell of the product that I love from my advent calendar. I called This Works customer service and was asked to email and send photos which I duly did. 48 hours later I have not received any update - which is pretty poor customer service in my opinion. If Amazon are selling old out of date / substandard product then surely This Works should want to know about it?

Although the company’s products are excellent (according to my wife) their customer service is awful.

My wife had been gifted some ThisWorks products, and having liked them she went to their website to purchase some for herself. At checkout she was advised that shipping costs would be £10, despite Royal Mail shipping being free within the UK.

On emailing the company to query why the Isle of Man was being treated as an international destination and therefore charged at a premium, she was advised that “the Channel Islands” are very expensive to ship to. The company might like to check Google Maps to learn how far away the Isle of Man is from the Channel Islands, and after doing that they might then like to check the Royal Mail website to educate themselves of the fact that postage to the Isle of Man is charged at mainland UK rates, not international rates. Other companies seem to manage this, so why not ThisWorks?

Either the company sucks at customer service (what an atrocious way to respond to a new customer who is trying to purchase your product), or they are deliberately profiteering and charging a premium on postage prices without justification.

There are plenty of competitor products out there so I’ve encouraged my wife to avoid this particular company until they learn how to deal with customers properly.

This Works has grown on me since last review.
Quality products that work even though I still think beyond affordable for most, unless, maybe on sale. This is real is a shame as I think a lot of people would benefit from the products.

I never leave home without the pillow spray and recently had a sample of their hand cream which has a great smell and feels very nice to the touch. Dry leg oil is another favourite. Often deals to be had either direct or through retailers like M&S so worth shopping around

This Works is innovative, agile, swift, value for money and most of all its works!

Amazing products and prompt shipping. Excellent customer service team who help resolve any problems you may have.

I love this company’s products. Everything from the shower gel to the face products and candles. Their pillow spray is the most amazing thing ever and puts me to sleep every time I use it. My family are all receiving Xmas presents from ThisWorks this year!! I hope the start doing travel sizes soon on the shower gels and face creams like this pillow sprays, so I can take it all with me every where I travel!!!

Great products and good customer service. I’ve given as gifts too and recipients love this little bit of luxury.

Unable to apply a 25% off code at checkout and no way to cancel the order. Wrote a note coming a their contact us form because the phone goes unanswered but no one has got back to me. I guess I will just have to return the goods straight away for a refund

I bought two products directly from their website, but when they arrived one of the products wasn’t what I ordered. After contacting This Works they got back to me straight away and organised the delivery of the missing item. Very kind, communicative and easy to deal with. Thank you!

Awful customer experience. I have used the company before and like their products. However with the last delivery the courier messed up and This Works was really not interested in whether the package reached me or not. No response to my emails and when I spoke to someone they didn't really help and told me to wait. No interest whatsoever in providing a service. Very disappointing but there are plenty of other products in the market by companies who do care so I will be changing the products I use.

Decided to try .. This works deep sleep pillow spray, deep sleep body cocoon and deep sleep wash. I'm so disappointed. Even after several sprays I carnt even smell the pillow spray. Iv lain down to sleep but tossed and turned as much as any other night. Expensive for something that doesn't work.

Perfect Legs Skin Miracle makes your legs look good, but batch I got came off on clothes, sheets and towels. Use it but be careful and definitely wash it off before bed. I have contacted M&S (where I bought it) and ThisWorks.

I was having some trouble sleeping and my partner got me the deep sleep pillow spray. Being sleeping like a baby for the past week.
Very quick delivery as well.

Love their sleeping spray really helps me at night and smells lovely!

Disgusting company!
I only ordered once from them and got bombarded almost daily with their junk emails and regular crap by post.
I had to call them to be remove from their database and was told it would take a minimum of 6 weeks to do this! Rubbish! Useless customer service! Only 5 stars reviews are kept live on their website everything else is removed immediately. I posted twice bad reviews and both got deleted within hours of me posting them

Excellent service, fast delivery, clear website, good sales! . Sleep+ spray is amazing for helping me not only get to sleep, but stay asleep. Good company with sound business principles. This works - it actually does!

Had an order which unfortunately hadn't arrived and had been stuck with Hermes for a week. On contacting Hermes it seems they'd lost it. I contacted This Works, letting them know it was a gift and therefore urgent, and they came back quickly and sent a replacement via next day delivery which meant it came in time!

Excellent customer recovery from Lucia! I purchased some items and appeared to qualify for the free gist of a candle, which I was very excited about. However, when I applied the discount from thisworks, I failed to qualify for the free gift. I felt that was a case of "giving with one hand and taking away with the other".
I spoke to Lucia at thisworks and she kindly reinstated the free candle with my order - just arrived - gorgeous!

Lovely products, they smell great and really do work! Items are dispatched quickly, and their customer service is absolutely brilliant - every time I email with a query whether it's about an offer they're running or just how to use a product properly, they reply in a really short timeframe and with a really friendly manner. I've been impressed with every product bought and every email received.
