Great tech support

Thank you so much to Adam from tech support for having helped me sort out the resetting of my camera. He was wonderful, very polite and patient and helped sort out the issue really fast. Even though I bought the camera 3 years ago, support was still there for me and other companies don't do this, so I'm really thankful to Time2. Thanks again for great tech support!

Oscar Winner !

Smart appearance.
Simple to fit.
Easy to set up.
Excellent picture quality. Watched live pictures 2000 miles away.
Good audio. Very sensitive mic.
Great value for money.
Needs Wifi of course.
Wil be ordering 2 more soon.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.

Camera worked for about a week.Had endless problems with the camera.I told customer service that the camera is faulty but they blamed the SD cards i was using,I bought another SD card just to prove a point that it was not the SD card.Both SD cards worked fine.Did not give me a full refund.Dont waste your money on there faulty goods,Rather pay the extra and get a ring camera instead.

At Time2, we pride ourselves in providing our customers with great value products and a fabulous customers experience so we are very disappointed that you feel you had not received this level of service.

With regards to the problem you were facing with the Micro SD card, we do recommend customers use branded Class 10 Micro SD Cards to avoid any issues with playback as other spec Micro SD Cards may not be compatible with the cameras.

Having checked our records I noticed that you had sent your camera back for testing and our engineers found that the camera worked well with our Sandisk 64GB Micro SD Cards, and due to the age of the order, unfortunately we were unable to provide a full refund.

We have had an issue with our rear…

We have had an issue with our rear camera, and have had no response from time2 on how to fix. Our camera is offline and we are not sure how to get it back online. Have spoken to customer support on the phone, and over email but have not had a helpful response and it cannot be sorted remotely (we are on holiday). The only time we need the camera to work, and it breaks!

I am truly sorry to hear you are struggling with the camera at the back of your home. Once the cameras are connected to your WiFi you should have access them from anywhere in the world.

Looking at the messaging platform I can see that you sent an email over the weekend. Unfortunately we are not open over the weekend and look to respond to emails once the customer service team return on the following Monday.

Here at Time2 we value our customers and when we are made aware of any issues faced by them we work hard to get them resolved.

I can see the customer service team have responded to your email and are looking get your cameras back online however if you would like to discuss this further please get in contact with me directly.

Hopefully I can change this experience into a positive one.

-10 review I bought outdoor security…OSCAR

-10 review I bought outdoor security camera in September 2018 and by December 2018 it was faulty.It kept going offline and sometime’s it would come come back on by itself or I had to switch it off for 10 minutes to reset it.😡I rang them and after a few week’s of going up the ladder and resetting it a few time’s and sending information they required they eventually decided to have the camera to check it....And guess what ...it worked perfectly for them.They probably tested next to their Router.It was only 11feet away from my router so should have worked.They refused to refund me AVOID THIS COWBOY COMPANY.They did not return call’s when they said they would so I had to call them.I have another camera at the rear of my house and that work’s perfectly (2years) as doe’s all my other equipment.It lasted 3 month’s!!! Don’t WASTE your MONEY.STAY AWAY from this COWBOY Company😡😡😡😡😡😡

AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE

I bought 2 of the Oscar cameras one of which would not connect at all the other no matter how many times I turned off sound motion sensor it turned itself back on both cameras were returned but Time 2 say there is nothing wrong with the camera have not refunded my money avoid this company at all costs they send out faulty cameras and will not refund

Products unavailable & prices soar once you've bought into the system

I wanted a simple flexible security camera system, this appeared to tick the boxes. I purchased three different types of camera to see how they performed before going the whole hog and buying something that didnt meet my needs. Whilst they appeared to work okay things went bad when I tried to purchase a load more cameras. They were out of stock, they wouldn't have any more until after I was going away and they whack the price up once they think they've hooked you into their system. There is a way you can guarantee not to have a problem with this company - dont buy from them. Time2 look elsewhere.

I bought 2 internal and one external…

I bought 2 internal and one external camera from them from day 1 one of the internal cameras did not function correctly. I sent it back but they checked it and returned it. I eventually tried it again but it was exactly the same. I called again they asked me to leave it set up and they would test it. They didn’t. By the time I got round to calling them again it was out of warranty even though it had never worked they still would not resolve the problem. Now they have not updated their app so the outside camera no longer works properly.

So my advice is avoid like the plaque. Their customer support is rubbish.

Unhappy.

I bought 2 of their indoor cameras in August 2018 and set them up with some considerable help from their support. At that point I was very pleased with everything. Today, July 2019, I contacted them about three possible problems with the cameras regarding connection. I was looking at purchasing two or three more cameras to complete my home set up. That has just been totally screwed by them. They have changed the camera and the old cameras use a different app to the new ones and cannot be intermixed. Now anyone who has one of these cameras will know that the app has to work constantly in the background for it to be of any use. This makes my phone battery die half way through the day and need to be recharged. So now, for me to expand my network I would have to have two different apps running all the time and probably have to carry a car battery around to keep the phone charged. We should be told this sort of information before they sell off old stock. But also, why make it so they can't work together? Not very forward thinking or showing consideration for their present customers.

Great cameras bulbs and smart plugs.. thank you.

I have several items from this company since 2018 coloured bulbs and smart plugs .. A small indoor dome camera for watching pets and most recently 2 Oscar2 outdoor cameras..
I am absolutely thrilled with these. They are simple to use with the Clan app and the picture is excellent Day view and night time. We can speak to anyone at the door even when we are away.
I like that there are NO extra costs like the other makes .. which are more expensive outlay also. The Tech help is brilliant on facebook or on the website. They couldn't be more helpful and understanding. I totally recommend Time2technology.com items.

I would not buy from these guys

I would not buy from these guys, spent over £80 on coloured WiFi bulbs 2 years later the app that controls bulbs no longer available, so if change phones you are stuffed! Their reply was they care old bulbs and they can't do anything about it.

Faulty Security Camera and No Refunds!!!

Purchased a security camera back in May and it didn't work. Sent back within 30 day money back guarantee and did not receive a refund. They sent another camera which was faulty and would still not refund me my money. Since then we have sent another camera back with a fault which they claim is working fine. They have now offered a partial refund (but not stated how much) and to return the camera back to us. It has been weeks since then and we haven't received the camera or the partial refund. Do Not Buy From This Company They Can Not Be Trusted!
