I recently returned an item to TKMax Halifax
I didn’t have my receipt as intended to keep it until I noticed it was faulty.
Lubna the member of staff that helped me with my problem went the extra mile and searched to find my proof of purchase and issued a refund.

On 13 March 2026 at around 5:32 p.m., I went to TK Maxx to buy a dress for Eid for my daughter. I came to the store on the recommendation of a friend who told me that TK Maxx has a good variety of clothes, and I did find some nice items in the end.
Unfortunately, the dress I bought was itching my daughter, so about an hour and a half later I returned to the store to exchange it for something else.
While the exchange itself was fine, the service at the till was very unprofessional. The lady serving me asked if I would like to donate money to the Cancer Foundation. I politely replied, “No, not at this time. I will do it next time.”
Her response was, “What a shame you don’t want to do it.” I found this comment very upsetting and inappropriate. She does not know my financial situation, and she does not know whether I donate to charities in other ways. No one should be judged for their choice about donations.
I also feel that the way she spoke to me was rude and insensitive. The lady does not know that someone may have medical or mental health issues. This situation made me very uncomfortable and stressed, and I even started feeling a panic attack afterwards.
I did not have time to call the manager while I was in the store because I was rushing to get home for iftar to break fast the time was very close. Because of this, I am raising the issue here and requesting that TK Maxx or the store management please look into this matter and take appropriate action.
I am not happy with the service I received at the till. I hope the store will remind staff to treat customers with professionalism and respect, and to avoid making comments that could make customers feel judged or uncomfortable.
I made a mistake with the address so received a message my parcel was being returned to sender. What made a difference was that the agent who responded to my message was friendly, and made me feel like an individual who mattered, not just someone to be processed quickly. It has definitely encouraged me to shop with them more often.

Order #43339011 Tk Maxx continue to deliver very fragile items completely smashed to pieces, consistently, due to their inappropriate packaging care/ negligence- their boxes do not even state fragile, stone items are not even put in their own separate box within a whole order, only rarely & they're just wrapped in tissue paper & left loose within a box of other items. Nothing to stop it moving around knocking other things, no care, despite me contacting them beforehand about the issue to ensure my re- purchase didn't arrive broken again- but it did since they did nothing about my concern & nothing changed, just an email response saying they package properly & all will be fine- it wasn't & isn't. They also put fragile items at the very bottom of all other things, again no care. I am awaiting a home collection return for the multiple heavy, fragile items that they sent to me smashed up.

Brought a handbag for my daughters birthday she didn't like it so returned it to the store, they said receipt was just out of the 28 day return (I always buy gifts in advance!) I was happy not to have my money back but they would not even offer a credit note or exchange!!
I have shopped with this company for years and online but they are willing to lose customers instead of a simple exchange which would have cost them nothing!
I had also gone into the store to buy several other items but I will never buy from them again I prefer a company that appreciates it's customers and not one that would prefer to lose customers!
Be very aware when you purchase from tkmax!

Placed an order online this morning and received an email confirmation a few minutes later. Just had another email saying the order has been cancelled with no explanation at all. My first and last time of ordering from TK Maxx.

Not happy at all.
My teenage daughter saved up and bought a bag for £30. She realised it wouldn’t be big enough and went to the store to return. She had to go on her own because I fractured my foot badly and I can’t walk. This is the tkmaxx in Haringey. My daughter approached a sales lady who didn’t even look at the bag and said that she had used it, which she hadn’t. It’s in perfect condition. She had the receipt and was in the 30 day return window.
She returned home really upset. She’s 16. The sales lady was so rude it’s unbelievable. Bordering on bullying.
My daughter couldn’t deal with that at all and I feel she took advantage of that. Needless to say no refund.
I called customer services , it’s out of the return date now, couldn’t care less.
Not only has this put me off tk maxx but my daughter had such a bad experience with this women I don’t think she’ll ever go again from fear. Disgusting.

Visited Leigh store , hadn’t been in since my youngest beautiful son Chris passed away so suddenly and tragically 2 years ago.
Cat, Cath,Sian& Carol were all pleasant and helpful and made me feel very welcome again! Cat was very kind and helped me to my car as I bought a lot of items - making up for not coming in for so long !- Cat served me again a few days ago and always gives excellent customer service and makes me feel very welcome - thank you Cat !

I have been gifted a gift card and someone in store made a duplicate and use it for themselves.
I have contacted the customer service and they told me that they couldn't do anything about it.
Be aware, there is a scam going on.
Customer service is excellent both instore and on the phone and by email
