Shocking mismanagement of information and action from a diverted flight whereby customers were continually misled in Munich airport after a diversion from Salzburg. This resulted in a really disruptive and negative beginning to our holiday.

We missed our flight home. There was a small forecasted snow fall and it was one of the busiest travel weekends, but this is why one uses a travel company. They should know this and plan accordingly. They did get us home later the same day on a different flight from a different airport, which was good. But they promised us vip lounge access which never materialised and I ended up having to pay a overstay penalty in the airport carpark.

Our holiday was fantastic until our journey home. Our flight was cancelled Salzburg to Cork 27/12/25. We were due to fly at 19.45 pm. We got a message from topflight at 20.30 to say our flight had been cancelled. We were called at 22.00 to collect our baggage. At 23.00 we were put on a bus to Munich. We were dropped at Munich Airport at 1.35am, given the name of a hotel and told to find our ow way there. There were no taxis available. We waited 30 minutes in the freezing cold with 3 children and had to split our family ,leaving one child to travel with another family, in order to reach the hotel. When we got to the hotel (at 210km an hour ) traumatised. The receptionist did not seem to have our details. We were given 2 rooms and 4 beds for 5 people. Topflight did not manage this properly and left us in the dark with what was happening. They have taken no responsibility, blamed Aerlingus for the cancelled flight, even though we booked only with Topflight as a package holiday. We would not book with TopFlight again as we felt the service we paid for with a tour operator was not fulfilled.

There was complete chaos due to a flight disruption. It was quite clear there was no contingency plan in place which one would expect when flying to ski resorts in winter months. Passengers with young children, elderly and ski injuries were left at the airport gate for hours with no communication, no food, no reps to assist. Passengers were eventually bused to Munich from Salzburg under the pretence that there would be an early morning flight to collect them. The bus arrived at Munich airport at 1am and passengers were then informed they were to go to hotels and to arrange Ubers. One hotel was 40km away. Passengers arrived at hotels between 1:30 and 2:30 am when they then received a text that the flight was arranged for 18:10 the following day. Flight disruptions are understandable, however the way it was handled was a complete disaster with a total disregard for peoples wellbeing.

Booking was easy. Value for money was amazing. The holiday with experts to advise on ski tips and the mountain area.
Transfers are smooth and take the stress out of getting to and from the airport.
Accommodation options are perfect and have everything needed for rest and recovery after a day on the slopes.

French and Italian Rivieras 16-23 October 2025.
Diana Marino in Liguria is a lovely quiet town situated on a long promenade connecting it to little towns on either side. The Eden Park Hotel has fine rooms, ample dining space and a bar/seated area near the 24 hr reception. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is self service, hot and cold, Dinner is three course, Food is good and their is a limited choice menu. Staff are very helpful and competent. Nice touch to have your bag dropped to your room and collected on leaving,
Holiday was well organised, transfer by coach from/to the airport is included. Day trips were to Sanremo, Monaco, Genoa with boat trip, Cannes and Antebe. Guides were excellent. Great holiday, would recommend.

Very Basic standard of Hotel . Despite being advertised as a 4 star. Poor quality food. Pool advertised as heated not heated.
No heat in the bedroom at night despite a dip in temps.
Trips : free time very limited .
Whole day trip to Genoa badly arranged time filling with a badly arranged boat trip.

Where to begin really. No detailed itinerary as to timescale of tours and town visits. Only provided on. the bus on the day of the tour. Hotel was quite remote and taxis expensive to nearby towns. Shuttle was provided but only on leisure days although every evening after 8pm .We only found this out on arrival and needed to be booked day before and limited slots.
Hotel food was good for first 3 days, pasta always good but pork on 3 occasions. Then went downhill. Restaurant was a dining hall really and quite spartan. Staff are fabulous and go above and beyond , they are the most welcoming friendly people but the hotel was not at all what we expected. There was no lounge area for after dinner drinks just a hallway with tables and chairs and reception was the bar!
Long journeys on the coach and little time in most towns from 1 hour to 1 and half hours really. No toilet facilities on the bus and constantly reminded by tour guide to go to the toilet in the town.
Puglia is a fabulous place and we would definitly go back but not on a tour ,we like to have more time to savour the towns and surroundings. Just all felt a bit rushed and regimented for us.
