Excellent service from Dan Jager in the UK. We used this company to convert currency from a property sale abroad to GBP. The process was explained comprehensively and everything went smoothly.

The level of customer service is something many companies and government departments should aim to equal - it has been first class from start to finish. When you ring you get through to a person, when you email you get a reply, and they do exactly what they say they will. I did two transfers, one to the US and the other to Eire and both were managed extremely well by my Account Manager Richard. Everyone I dealt with was extremely polite, courteous, helpful and professional. They made the transfer process a straightforward experience, and I would definitely use them again.

Despite several queries from me which did not relate in business for Torfx, the team (well, specifically Ally Phillips - an absolute exemplary ambassador for this company) remained accessible and approachable - Yes, the exchange is the main catalyst for using their services but the patience, professionalism and empathy displayed to a ‘senior’ customer was/is sufficient for me to use their services again.

1. They gave us a good rate. 2. They worked with us to send a test transaction from our originating bank all the way through to our pension platform to make sure we didn't pick up any hidden charges from source, conversion platform or intermediary banks along the way. 3. Tom was very straight forward to deal with. No sales flannel. Just the facts. I setup accounts and tried 6 platforms before settling on TorFx. Very happy with the outcome.

Adam Solomon deserves a mention as he is always on hand to advise and guide us when necessary, alleviating any stress. We have used TorFX for numerous UK Pound Sterling to Euro exchanges/transfers for both large sums and smaller sums.

Our account manager, Richard Brock, provides a remarkable level of service being both professional and personable in equal measure. His responsiveness is second to none and he continues to work on our behalf, actively calling us upon receipt of an email request.

TorFX has the faciltity to set rate alerts to inform the customer when the exchange rate achieves a target range, allowing the customer to instigate a currency exchange/transfer to achieve greatest financial benefit.

If only all banking experiences were undertaken to such a high level of customer focus we feel sure the world would be a far less stressful place.

No being held in a queue or on hold or passed from one person to another you are assigned an actual person to deal with your transfers. I am lucky to have Scott Gunn as mine.
