I've sent my three daughters to this tutor as well as many of my friends. Her professionalism, communication, and level of caring are beyond the pale, and she coaxed out of my kids final scores on their SAT I didn't think they were capable of. I also noticed that my children’s general grades rose during and after the period she taught them; they learned better study skills as well as test-taking skills with her. It was a great investment.

Tova's tremendously gifted, an excellent teacher who also deeply cares about her students. She helped our twin girls prepare for their ACT and SAT, respectively, and we were blown away by both their final test results - far higher than anything I personally had been expecting. The services here were professional and extremely communicative. Tova often checked in with my husband and myself to explain how the girls were progressing or to ask us for our input, so that we felt like we were part of the process. It was extremely pleasant working with her.

Tova's a wonderful teacher, probably the best I've hired for my kids. She's clearly familiar with every inch of the SAT and knows how to teach it in a way my son could understand. She helped him step by step through the reading comprehension and writing sections, which was what he needed the most help with. By the time they stopped taking lessons, he was flying through it and time management wasn't a problem anymore. And he got into Stanford on the strength of his score, so we're all definitely happy with the results.

Tova's amazing; she helped my daughter get out of an extremely stressed and depressed period through her patience and persistence. I felt like she really cared about my daughter's success, and after speaking to other parents who've worked with her, I know they feel the same. My girl ended up with a 1520, far beyond what she needed or what she had hoped for, and I know that much of that is due to Tova's teaching skills, her experience, and to be honest, sheer willpower. My daughter is incredibly smart and very hard-working, but I'm not sure she could have pulled this off alone.

I was impressed with every aspect of how Tova prepared my son for his SAT. Her professionalism, her experience, her rapid intuition for what my son needed to understand and improve, and almost more than anything else, her communication with us and her obvious desire that he succeed, made for the most effective tutor I've seen. A 560 in the reading/writing section became a 750, and a 710 in the math section became a 770. What else can I say?

Tova’s a great and very special teacher. She helped me with English and reading comprehension, and I had a great time learning with her. She’s professional and communicative; the lessons feel relaxed, fun, and non-stressful, and my skills increased a lot. I gained a lot of new vocabulary, approaching texts with more ease and gaining confidence. Tova also introduced me to several texts and sources that were challenging, but also interesting, which made our classes enjoyable and engaging. Since I’ve started university we’ve always kept in touch, and I’ve recommended Tova Krakauer Coaching services to several people I know.

Tova was excellent in helping me prepare for my exam. Her communication is always great, she’s supportive and helpful, and she made me feel calm and relaxed in regard to the test itself. She helped me prepare for my exam when I was really stressed about it. In the beginning Tova said she didn’t have the availability, but then she agreed to help me and I’m so glad she did! She’s a really brilliant tutor, caring, supportive, and flexible. She really made herself available to me and I could see that it made a huge difference in my score. All my interactions with Tova were very relaxed and pleasant, and my engagements with the company were professional and pleasant, and most importantly, I finished with an excellent score.

Tova’s helped me over the course of several months with math. I needed help and preferred someone to teach me personally; Tova’s very professional, and I looked forward to our double lessons. I came to her originally because of the amazing reviews, and when I started studying with her, I got great results. She’s an amazing teacher, very thorough and explains things so well. During the week she gave me assignments which cemented what we did in our lessons together, and gave me a solid foundation for the next one.
Tova’s calm, sweet, and understanding, and has endless patience. She’s extremely encouraging and stayed with me on a topic until I felt confident with it. With her help, I progressed very quickly. I highly recommend her.

Tova helped me with English and Reading Comprehension. She’s so talented – she knows every inch of English grammar and structure, and explains it all really well. She’s clearly extremely intelligent, and understood every bit of the science texts I brought her to dissect, and was able to break them down and explain every bit, even though they were things she’d never seen before. (I later found out that her background is in science and engineering.) She’s a clear and thorough teacher, and I continue to use Tova Krakauer Coaching for whenever I need English help or a little extra nudge. She’s helped me enormously.

Tova's helped me on both the math and the English section. She's an amazing teacher. She explains math concepts so well, and helped my understanding to the point that the math on the test almost seemed like a breeze. She's also fantastic with the English sections - her understanding and command of the subject are matchless.
Great test prep center - the services are uber-professional, communication is great, and Tova herself is a wonderful math and a wonderful English teacher. Highly recommended.

I reached out to Tova Krakauer Coaching because the personal recommendations from people I knew who had used this test prep center were absolutely excellent. I was a tiny bit skeptical because we’d already tried quite a few tutors, and they all seemed to get subpar results. But I knew after my daughter’s first lesson with her that this SAT teacher was different. After every lesson with her, my daughter seemed happy and satisfied with how the lesson went. She also had a high level of trust and emotional attachment to Tova, which is the first time I’ve seen that with one of her tutors. The lessons seemed to be working because Jenny’s scores kept increasing on the SAT simulations, and she also got better at time management, managing more often to finish entire sections before time was up. Since in the beginning she was only finishing about half of the math section in the time given, this was great and very encouraging. Her time management on the reading comprehension and writing section also improved noticeably. Tova was very professional in all her interactions with me, as well as with Jenny. I’ve been in the room discreetly when she was Zoom teaching, and I was pleasantly surprised by her level of commitment and dedication: she’s fully present during lessons, which I think is extremely important in an SAT teacher. All in all my daughter worked with Tova Krakauer Coaching for about thirteen months. Her final score was a 1530, which was a huge improvement on her original score. She was over the moon when she got her results. I highly recommend this company. If you stick with it and are consistent in the lessons, I think Tova can help you. She’s an extraordinarily gifted and capable teacher, and she really cares.

Tova is very knowledgable, dedicated, flexible, great time management and has a great teaching style - she identified the opportunities and grey areas and come up with the action plan to trained and teach. I have seen a great changes in my daughters scores and knowledge level. Wish her all the best.

Tova’s excellent with standardized exams and knows the material inside and out. She’s always prompt and rapid with her responses, highly professional, and really intelligent. She was always extremely nice in all our encounters, and she gave me a lot of confidence. I trusted her to get me to a good score and it paid off! I got a perfect score. Tova’s a professional, patient teacher who always tries to “get” you and your learning style. She teaches in a really methodical way which goes with you step by step and builds a solid foundation, so that you don’t get confused or overwhelmed.
It’s obvious that she has a crazy amount of experience, and she seems to really care. Really wonderful teacher.

Tova's the greatest teacher I've ever had. I've been working with her on and off for about 6 years. My parents hired her for me when I was 15 and starting to study for my SAT, and it was obvious I needed help. SInce then I've worked with her on college applications, calculus, math, English, and physics lessons in college, and most recently she's been helping me study for the GRE. She’s a genius.
Basically she's been my go-to teacher for everything, and in part this is because she's just so nice. I feel comfortable with her; there's no embarrassment or awkwardness, and by now I think of her as a close friend. The second thing is that she really is an excellent teacher. She got me to a 1560 on the SAT, which I'm pretty sure I couldn't have done by myself in a hundred years. Her company Tova Krakauer Coaching is wonderful, they always get back to you right away and are professional about everything. Recommended more than I can say.

Tova is such a good teacher. She explains things clearly and easily, and when you don’t understand something, she finds a different way of teaching it. Her lessons are relaxed and stress-free, Tova is an encouraging and thoughtful tutor, and there was a certain amount of flexibility which I found important. Tova was willing to meet at hours when other teachers usually wouldn’t meet, because she knew I had an overloaded schedule and wanted to make it as easy on me as possible. Tova’s a great teacher, very patient and sweet. She has an in-depth understanding of standardized exams and guides you to the quickest and best way to solve. Clear explanations, and very methodical classes. Highly recommend!

Tova Krakauer is an outstanding coach/tutor. She is extremely knowledgeable and is excellent at working with others. She has tutored my daughter in advanced algebra and she had made a real difference in my daughter's understanding of the material and success in class. Thank you, Tova!!!

Tova’s a brilliant, brilliant tutor. I’ve hired her for test preparation for two of my sons now, after my older son increased his score by over 400 points with her. (!) I’d sat in on some of their classes together and was impressed by how specific, knowledgeable, but also gentle her teaching style is. (They were working on the verbal parts, the reading comprehension section and the writing and language section.) My older son always spoke of her with great admiration, so when it was my younger son’s turn to do the ACT (my older son had done the SAT), I decided to go with Tova again. He needed more help with the math section, but it was the same story. He spoke of her very fondly, got a fantastic score, and was accepted into the school of his choice.
I’ve recommended Tova Krakauer Coaching to a number of my friends at this point, as well as to my sister, and they’ve all reported similar experiences. If you can afford it for your child, I’d definitely recommend trying the company, as you’ll get results instead of throwing your money away, and the investment is well worth it. Truly an excellent investment.

Tova is an excellent math teacher. She tutored me during an online semester where everything is extra difficult and on my final exam I passed with a very high score. I’m not known to be too great at math, so her dedication and willingness to see me succeed was enough for me to achieve something I wouldn’t think possible. She is willing to meet to a great extent, making the session as comfortable and relaxed as possible. By the time we finished classes I felt a lot more comfortable with the material, and I could answer questions much faster.
Without her I couldn’t have accomplished what I did. I definitely recommend her!
