My monitor was officially confirmed as…

My monitor was officially confirmed as defective by the authorized service center. After the seller went bankrupt, I contacted Philips/TPV and asked for assistance. Unfortunately, no replacement, refund, or other practical solution was offered.

The support team replied to my messages, but the issue remained unresolved. As a customer, I am extremely disappointed with the outcome and the level of support I received.

Based on my personal experience, I would rate Philips/TPV customer support 0 out of 10.

Philips is great, TP Vision is not.

Philips is great. But you shouldn't use the name's brand for your tv's because they are garbage. TP Vision is not what Philips used to be. Ordered the newest MiniLed tv (MLED910), what a mess. Washed out colors, banding, softness, it goes on.
Why Philips allows for a crappy Chinese brand to use their name and defile their legacy is beyond me.

Very unfortunate

Very unfortunate
I only found out the Philips name was bought by this company after I'd already bought my ambilight tv. I'm a smart home enthusiast and after buying the Ambilight TV I quickly found out their API is garbage and has very poor third party integration, ambilight feature not exposed properly to trap users in their own eco system, I dare say they on purpose break things and block access to features and rate limit their API to force customers to only use their own products. The ambilight was a huge selling point for me, now I wish I just got a light strip and an LG since I had the sync box anyway. Such a shame.

Useless Phillips TV warranty repair

Useless Phillips TV warranty repair. Tv still not working. They just tell you anything on the phone but never never fallow through with anything. They promise to get back to you and don’t. They state they have escalated it to managers. They haven’t. When you ask to speak to a supervisor or manager they state it’s policy that they are not allowed to talk to customers!!!
Useless avoid

An absolute joke

I have had the run around from this Chinese firm for several months now to no avail. It’s shocking that the Philips name is put to products from a Chinese company with no product support, no product knowledge and no customer service. Having decided to expand my home cinema with Phillips DTS Play Fi speakers I had terrible trouble. After nearly 3 months Philips claim to the product investigation was still ongoing and that my complaint of 2 months for lack of support was with “another department” which I am also still awaiting to hear from. Ended up selling all my Philips products

An incredibly poor service with no…

An incredibly poor service with no response nor solution for a broken television which is still under warranty. After 7 weeks of waiting and trying to repair it with their service partner ‘LetMeRepair’, they are pointing to each other to decide on replacing television or giving money back. This is the absolute worst service I have experienced in years! Never again Philips television. Please stay away from this company.

Warranty is worthless

Atrocious Philips TV Technical Support service. I asked them on numerous occasions to provide written contact details of their complaints department, which were not provided.
As others have said, the warranty is not worth the paper it is written on.
The moral of the story is do not buy a Philips branded TV in the UK

The worst company I have ever…

The worst company I have ever experienced. Repair booked by Philips and the engineer only half completed the job, when I highlighted to him he raised his voice and argued with me in my own home! He finally agreed to fix the issue and then stormed out of my house when it was done. When I realised he’d left, I checked the TV to see that there were large deep scratches over the display that weren’t there before. When I tried to phone this bunch of cowboys it was they don’t do anything over the phone and close your case by email the next day. I arranged another repair for the issue through Philips and the same engineer turned up and suddenly left. He told me he’d been advised not to repair. When I checked with customer service he’d told them the TV was fine and didn’t need repaired. Liar and a fraud and the company are selling goods unfit for purpose and causing damage to customer devices with defective parts.

If I see this company’s name on anything again I was cancel and run for the hills! They are relying on the Philips brand and not providing anywhere near the same level!

Faulty product and useless customer service

Bought a Philips tv (TP Vision is their dedicated tv company) in August 2022. It developed a fault after six months making it very difficult to use the main home/navigation bar. TPV told me to reinstall (reset) the tv, using the factory-installed software, but this didn't fix the fault. They then told me they were working on a software fix, which apparently they have been for several months with nothing to show for it. Their only offer was that I should wait for this fix to be completed - with no guarantee or timescale, of course.
After months of discussion I asked my credit card supplier to intervene using Section 25, and they agreed that I should be refunded the full purchase cost. I've now received this (from the credit supplier, not from TPV, which is a pity) and bought a new tv from another manufacturer. As well as working properly, this new tv is much faster to power on (Philips tv took over a minute before I could even use the controls) and is more responsive.
Guess who won't be buying anything from Philips again...

Customer Service complete joke

As expected customer service absolute joke.Only advice given was to refer to tv manual.Asked for pictures of problem(very dull uhd picture) just said picture was acceptable and to contact sky to see if they could help.2 year warranty not worth paper it was written on.Classic avoidance of responsibility and blame someone else.Avoid televisions from this manufacturer if possible.

Absolute trash

Before Philips try and get this review removed I remind Philips that I have the emails as proof!

Philips repaired my faulty TV. After the repair the TV was worse than before the repair. So I contacted them again with new photos proving the fault was worse than before. Now Philips have closed my case claiming that the screen is within specifications! Philips is a joke. I strongly recommend that anyone reading this NEVER EVER BUY PHILIPS or their other brand products. Philips make faulty goods then force them onto consumers or force retailers to foot the bill.

Philips make me sick!

Absolutely dire

Absolutely dire! How can TPV market such rubbish under the Philips brand? The OLED754 has so many problems I don't know where to start. The worst problem is the lipsync which has the vision arriving almost 1/2 a second after the sound on TV tuner progamme. Oddly, it is perfect on HDMI input, so clearly they can achieve the basic function of a TV - when used as a monitor - but utterly useless as its main function, a TV!

As for the customer 'service', what a total joke! They try to make it out to be all your fault, the customer's fault, and they'll make you answer loads of irrelevant questions over and over again, they ignore everything useful you tell them, they ask you to do a complex technical procedure about formatting a USB stick then uploading some files to it, plug it into the TV then tapping in a secret code to the TV, then downloading the files to a computer, then blah blah BLAH! All designed to waste your time and to avoid their responsibility for making a truly terrible TV. They even ask you to take a picture of the TV and send it to them... as if that will fix a lipsync problem! They tried to tell me it was my amplifier, despite it happening on the internal TV speakers with noting connected to the TV at all! - because they refuse to LISTEN to what the actual problem is. And then without any warning, they closed my ticket for warranty repair / replacement for no reason whatsoever. They will try every trick in the book to wriggle out of their responsibilites.

They lied to the retailer, telling them they had closed the ticket because I was unable to upload new firmware, which was a complete and total lie!

In any case, new f/w can't fix a lipsync problem if they haven't fixed the lipsync problem... because they don't know there is a lipsync problem.... because they don't listen to customers, loads of them on avforums who have similar lipsync problems with the 754 TV... And there's no company more deaf and more stupid than the one that refuses to listen to customers who collectively tell them they have problems with their products.

Eventually, after being ignored and generally abused by TPV customer 'service' helpline (ha ha!), when I wrote an email to Philips CEO Frans A van Houten (his email is easily found at ceoemail . com), complaining bitterly at the problems TPV has caused me, his UK man at TPV, Mr Jones contacted me and promised he'd sort out my TV and also sort out all the problems other people complaining about TPV TV on the Philips . co . uk Trustpilot thread were complaining about. His offer to replace my 754 with a better 855 TV backfired because he forgot to tell me TPV have separated the speaker and headphone volume control in the Android operating system, and so the sound volume and muting through an external amplifier can't be controlled by the remote control volume and mute buttons, only by the headphone volume slider control which is roughly 10 menu presses deep into the control settings! Not helpful at all, TPV, what a stupid thing to do. Loads of people have complained to Philips / TPV about this online, even youtube videos have been made begging Philips to fix this, but they refuse to listen to customers. It was even delivered with a Euro 2 pin plug instead of the required UK 13 amp 3 pin plug, so clearly it was a knock-off not intended for the UK market. Now how's that for customer care, supplying a replacement TV that can't even be plugged it? You couldn't make this nonsense up.

Unless TPV / Philips start listening to customers and fix their diabolical 754 TV and offer some sort of customer service, they will lose customers, and hopefully will go bust as a just reward for ignoring customers and blaming customers for the faults.
