They explained each step clearly, which made the whole process easy to understand and stress-free. I would highly recommend them.

We received great communication from the party wall collective and we found the whole process smooth and easy to navigate. This removed a significant stress from our extnesion planning and also helped with making sure our neighbours were informed and on board.

We used Ben for our Party Wall dispute during the planning stage of our loft extension at the recommendation of our builders. He was professional, helpful, polite and understanding throughout. In the murky world of Party Walls, TPWC offer a real breath of fresh air. Clear fixed pricing, pragmatic, easy to get hold of reliable in their delivery. A very positive experience.

A few errors and inconsistencies in the initial drafts but these were quickly fixed and didn’t impact the process.

I made the mistake of not looking at the negative reviews or just assuming they were from people that had an "unforeseen and unfortunate event" during the party wall. After we had already engaged with Ben, I read all of his responses. Please notice: he is quick to straw-man the reviewer ("you only have negative reviews on here") instead of actually trying to improve his business.

​I imagine party walls are trivial unless they're difficult (ha!) and probably the majority of reviews here are from the trivial cases. Ours was not.

​We engaged with them on August 7th. They reached out to the other company, but progress was painfully slow. I had to do all the chasing myself, sending emails and trying to call the other company by phone. I also had to chase The Party Wall Collective 8 times for updates. On several occasions, a scheduled appointment never happened. Other times, it was because they weren't good at chasing the other company themselves. The most frustrating part was being told by Ben on September 18th (6 weeks after we had engaged with him), "The other company has been slow and expensive in the past, so see how we go." This suggested he knew they were unreliable, yet I was the one left to do all the work. If they knew this was an issue, why not flag it immediately and save us precious weeks?

​As I've since learned from other reviews, this isn't an isolated incident. The pattern of poor communication, a failure to return calls, and Ben’s defensive and dismissive replies to negative feedback is a reoccurring theme. My experience, like others, shows a clear lack of professionalism.

Just go with someone else. If it's easy you won't know the difference, but if it's hard you'll be grateful

Ben and Alana did a brilliant job of explaining the process and at keeping us up to date of any issues. They were very candid about the issues which were out of their control. All delivered within expected timeframes. Would highly recommend.

We recently (in May this year) used The Party Wall Collective and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Ben explained each step of the party wall award process. He was pragmatic and ensured that both our concerns and those of our neighbour were addressed and he explained the important points to focus on getting agreement on.

Ben was always responsive and pushed hard to reach agreement with our neighbour’s party-wall surveyor.

We are really pleased with the service we received. Ben took all the stress out of the start of our building project. We can’t recommend The Party Wall Collective highly enough.

I found the service provided by the team to be exceptionally professional and efficient. From the initial consultation to the finalization of the agreement, their guidance was clear. They also did not charge me anything to issue the notice. This is in-line with their motto they charge only when their services/expertise are needed.

We appointed TPWC to act as our representative while our neighbour is undergoing an extension, as we wanted someone knowledgeable in this field in the event of something going wrong. Just our initial telephone conversation with Ben, we knew right away that he would be the ideal Party Wall surveyor for us. In turn, our neighbour also agreed to appoint him as the shared surveyor in this instance. Ben was friendly, approachable, and handled the task at hand with great professionalism. We would also like to take a moment to commend his secretary, Alana for keeping us updated on the progress from start to finish.
