Fell for the advertising of something…
Fell for the advertising of something like $40 for trade make protection. Despite not selecting the optional services I still got charged. Yes, they did reimburse me the fees when the issue was raised but then roll on another month and I am charged again, which again they say they will reimburse me. In the meantime, I am getting emails to say I have not finished the trademark protection process. In order to finish they were looking for more payment. Feels like false advertising to me if not something worse

The two refunded add-ons — the Certified Copy and the Attorney Consultation — were optional services that were selected during the checkout process. These services are not automatically included; customers must actively choose to add them before completing their order.
The recurring charge you saw was for the Brand Protection Plus subscription. During checkout, there was an option to opt out of this subscription. There was also an opportunity to cancel during the 30 day trial period. As a courtesy, we have refunded this charge as well.
Additionally, we have refunded the service fee for the $49 trademark registration package you selected.

I had an excellent experience working with the support agent (Ben Jaro) at Trademark Engine. He assisted me with my Statement of Use, and he made it a clear, and manageable process.
Ben was very patient, knowledgeable, and very responsive. He took the time to explain what was needed, reviewed my materials carefully, and helped ensure my specimen files were properly uploaded and aligned with the requirements.
