It was one of the most unprofessional…

It was one of the most unprofessional experiences I had. I lost my trademark application because I trusted Attorney Liz Frye from Trademarkkable to be able to handle an office action response and submit it in time. Well, she didn't. She missed the deadline that I pointed out from the beginning. Of course, when we spoke first, she said if I would make the payment right away - she can make the deadline. But after the money was send, it became very silent.
One day before the expiration I reached out to inquire about the status. but as many times before - no answer. Long story short - I missed the deadline and the application fell into the abandoned status. And I still had not received an answer.1 day After the expiration I finally received the answer which was"I couldn't make it and I'm still working on it..." This is so unbelievably unprofessional. Not one email or heads up about it. No communication, no filing for an extension, no response to my email in time. And now that the deadline has expired and she missed it , her comment was " we will have to revive it" which means I now have to spend more money because of her actions to even have a chance to continue with my application.
So if file a trademark application and you receive one of those automated spam emails from trademarkkable or liz frye or liz whaley or any of those other"competent attorneys" from trademarkkable... maybe think again. If someone handles such an important matter like a trademark registration wich such an "don't really care" attitude, as a lawyer, they might not be the best choice. I learned it the hard way.
