I engaged Trade Windows to replace the roofline woodwork and guttering, plus the rotted wooden windows and front and rear doors on my early 1990's property. The teams used were very professional and the work was completed within schedule with minimal disruption. The tiled bathroom windowsill was damaged during old window removal but was replaced with a new windowsill before I even knew what had happened! The work was completed 5 months ago and there have been no quality issues at all to report. Even the subcontracted scaffolders used were top notch, which was good as the scaffolding had to intrude on the neighbour's property. All in all a good job well done, would certainly recommend.

I’m so pleased with my rosewood composite door and side panel. The team at Trade Windows were professional, helpful, and easy to deal with throughout the process. Their showroom was excellent and made choosing the right style simple. There was no high-pressured sales approach, which I really appreciated.

Heads up people, this is a poor company. Had new rear windows fitted , they damaged 2 of the conservatory roof panels and smashed a hole in my kitchen tiles . Took 6 weeks to get the panels replaced, but apparently they will not guarantee the work they have carried out , I had to take time of work , having to be at home while they assessed the issue I now have 2 roof panels that look a completely different colour and no guarantee for the work done . I’m not wasting my time waiting for the kitchen tile repair.
Avoid this company at all costs .

stay away from these guys use cheap material that don't last even 12 months then duck dive for replacement
Pay let extra get a reputable suppliers they not worth your time.

Just had windows and porch fitted last week Rob and Chris worked so hard and went above and beyond they finished well within the time frame given cleaned up as they worked very polite and a pleasure to have them in our home. The windows and porch look stunning the quality is very good in all very happy also office staff treated us well so Thankyou to Rob/ Chris/ Dennis and Ben we will be back.

Trade Windows fitted the majority of the windows in my bungalow. However, two of the bigger windows have misted up rather badly. So, I rang Trade Windows and asked for an estimate to have the glass replaced. Yes, the windows are out of guarantee but I was astonished when I was told it would involve a £50 call-out charge for a visit and estimate- even though they are their own windows!!

Needless to say I shall not be using Trade Windows again!

I am amazed at some of the reviews on here with poor service etc because I have experienced outstanding service from day 1. The whole house was done several years ago and we have been delighted with the windows and doors. To be fair the original house Double glazing installed by the builders was an absolute disgrace, so any improvement was likely to be good. However after 7 years (I kid you not) I noticed a lounge window panel was become slightly misty which you could only see in the evening light. One call and an appointment was made, the after sales fitter was outstanding, very carefully measuring the panel and because it had diamond leading on it actually traced the pattern by hand on the floor. 10 days later phone rings and he comes and fits the replacement. Whilst visiting he had a check of all other doors and windows. Honestly I cant fault any of it.

Dont be drawn in by a longstanding company name we're so disappointed with the result of the work and the service we've received.

Both doors are clunky and difficult to lock as if slightly misaligned. A large piece of plaster was broken off the kitchen wall by the door and very crudely stuck back in place - ill have to sort that myself.

We had to fill, paint and trim the interior of the windows ourselves at additional cost because none of the salespeople who visited our house prior to the fitting cared to explain the options clearly and the fitters were disinterested. Trade didn't even supply the trim for me to fit later.

Had our doors and windows fitted in Nov '22 and our neighbours 7 year old windows look newer than ours after 3 months. The work was scheduled for 3 days. The first day, the fitters turned up late and finished early. Second day, turned up later and finished earlier. The final day was hugely rushed.

Each day i had to clean up inside and out after the fitters left... including cladding tiles smashed off our house that i had to collect off the floor and ask that the fitters repair and restore the damage the next morning.

Even after complaints to the company the house and garden was left strewn with chunks of plaster and still scattered with dried sealant and plastic off cuts on the final day. The shelter over our front door still has rubble left by the fitters all over it.

I contacted Trade in January '22 by email and then followed up with calls to the sales team to chase resolution and I have received no responses. I will say they weren't slow or passive in chasing our payment... What good is any kind of warranty when this happens only weeks after installation. Avoid.

Ordered 3 triple glazed windows in September and order finally completed to correct spec end of November!!
Unbelievably poor service.
Wrong glass sent for 1 window, wrong beading sent for another and wrong colour handles for all windows.
I appreciate that thing go wrong but it’s how they are dealt with that is important. It was me who had to continually chase replacement glass, beads and handles and they continued to promise and not deliver. Always pleasant when I could get to speak to someone but very poor in delivering what was promised.
It’s now December and I still await a promised call back regarding a discount.
I cannot recommend ordering from them.

Derek Westcott was very helpful when we chose our french doors and windows. The surveyor arrived very quickly and we didn't have to wait long.
Dan and Lewis were our fitters and we were very pleased with there work.

What can I say but great work. We have just had conservatory built onto our bungalow and it fantastic. The guys have worked so hard. It will be great to be able to sit in it and look out onto our beautiful garden. Highly recommend Trade Window. Denise and Steve Etches.

Very happy with this company. We had a new front door and a bay window fitted. Both were timely and are well fitted. The staff were lovely and very professional. The job looks great.

Absolutely shocking !! The windows don't fit, been put in twisted, frame fit in a fashion but the window frame has been measured too small can get your hand in between. The seals are all falling out, handles don't work. The doors have been fitted twisted and the lock has to be turned at least 4 - 5 times to open, Called for them to come back and repair or replace only to be told it's not their problem, but we can sell you a new set !!

Just had Trade Windows fit several new windows and a composite front door, took two days, was advised 2.5. Two fantastic fitters could not be more helpful, really fabulous. They had to contend with lots of issues when old hideous windows were removed and we are talking three big windows - just carried on despite extra work. Quality of the windows and the door fab fab fab. I am so glad i stayed local and i would recommend wholeheartedly!!!!!!

Shambolic company, appalling customer service, borderline infringements on GDPR rules giving personal information regarding their staff as excuses, lied to by salesman, awful communication, delay after delay and still not got our windows fitted, estimated install date seven months after initial home visit. Director of company rude and threatening solicitors action rather than any form of an apology. Steer well clear.

BAD EXPERIENCE,SHOW RM MIS MANAGED,POOR COMMUNICATION,WAS TOLD DOOR BEEING FITTED PM THEN CHANGED TO AM....BUT DOORS NOT EVEN MADE LAUGHABLE....CANCELLED ORDER AT THAT POINT AS NO COMPENSATION OFFERED,FITTERS NOT TO BLAME,WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.....MY NEIGHBOUR ALREADY CHANGED MIND, TONY.

One star more than I’d like to have given them!
Appalling company, doors being measured wrong, damaged parts fitted, multiple visits to sort various problems, service engineers not turning up on time or not at all. Emails ignored and numerous phone calls made to chase up problems!
A total of 14 weeks from the work starting to being finished and a pathetic apology at the end. Glad I’ll never have to use this firm again!
