Travel House - Penarth Reviews 

My friend and I had great fun booking a cruise in the Penarth Travel House yesterday (7/2/26) - such an enjoyable experience. The young lady we sat with (as with all the staff there) was fabulous! Probably never enjoyed parting with money so much! Previously used Travel House Penarth (Peter) to book flights to / within Australia last year - so I know they’re excellent. Will be booking every trip with them from now on. Thank you!!🍸

Very good and busy but Alex made our experience very good.

Our holiday is a bespoke, multi country excursion. I was very impressed by the dedication of the staff in getting our holiday correctly tailored and sorted for us, which included various alterations along the way, I am sure was a time-consuming exercise.
Communication was excellent, with all the details explained. Fantastic Customer Service. Thank You

We have used Penarth Travel House a number of times over the last couple of years. I pop in with an idea of where and when we want to go, and the team have found us great deals. The staff have always been great and finding us an awesome deal saving us a good amount of time and money. Peter was great yesterday at finding our last minute trip to Disney Paris . Very good customer service.

Exceptional customer service yet again by far the best holiday boooking service we have ever experienced.

We recently booked a holiday to California and the National Parks. Peter was very helpful and knowledgeable and made the booking process very easy.

I went into Travel House Penarth in January because I was having difficulty finding a suitable skiing holiday which avoided half term in February 2025.
All the team that I met were extremely friendly, helpful and professional.
I would like to give special mention to both Peter & Alex who went above and beyond with their level of service, nothing was too much trouble.
Eventually we found a holiday in Solden, Austria at the Hotel Tyrolerhof.
The hotel was located on the main street, it was only a short walk to both the ski lift, and hire shop to collect our skis and boots.
The hotel room was a large suite, but it worked perfectly for us, especially as my brother had originally wanted single rooms.
Originaly we had wanted to eat out in the evenings, but we ended up eating in the hotel every night. There were several choices on the menu, and each night the menu was different.
The hotel has a sauna, which we didn't use, but another guest advised us that if you want to use it you have to be naked.
There is a bar attached onto the hotel, our only disappointment with this was that it only sold small beers.
If you are an intermediate skier you will not be disappointed with the skiing in Solden, as it has a vast ski area, and also very long run down the mountain.
We took the shirt bus journey to Obergurgl on the Thursday, there were a lot more British voices to be heard in this resort, however we felt that the ski area was nowhere near as good as Solden.
Overall, both Solden and the hotel were excellent, my brother and I had a fabulous skiing holiday.
Inghams tour operators were disappointing, the website wasn't ideal when we were looking for a holiday, the Inghams App didn't work, our welcome pack was incomplete, the voucher for our boots & skis was in someone else's welcome pack. There was no Inghmas Rep on our coach to the resort and there was no contact from the Rep during the week. (The previous year the Crystal Rep had sent us text messages/updates during the week). Inghams could learn a lot from the Travel House Penarth.

Not used this store before, will certainly use them again.
Pete was incredibly helpful knowledgeable & had a clear understanding of what I needed.

We haven't travelled for a while so wanted face yo face advice. Peter helped us find a fab Italian holiday and was very thorough taking time to get our booking just right. We feel excited yet relaxed after booking with Peter at Travel House

The usual high standard of of service from Peter and Alex nothing to much trouble for them, but a HobNob with my tea next time lol only joking.

I went into The Travel House, Penarth to enquire about a cruise. Pete was very knowledgeable and helpful and did all the hard work in booking my cruise.

Excellent friendly service .very informative and couldn't do enough to advise us on our cruise
Would definitely use them again and recommend to family and friends
