Travelogy India, not to be trusted with your safe travel in India

I booked a tour of Punjab, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh with Travelogy India. On the first day, while the company was finalising the package and collecting payment, they provided a clean, well‑maintained vehicle and a professional driver to show me around Delhi. This initial experience gave the impression of a reliable and reputable organisation.

However, the situation changed drastically the following day. For our journey from Delhi to Amritsar, the company arranged a public taxi rather than their own vehicle. The driver was not in uniform, displayed no professionalism, and drove in an extremely unsafe manner. His reckless driving resulted in an accident in which both my wife and I sustained serious injuries. We were transported by ambulance to a hospital in Amritsar and were left unable to continue our trip.

Instead of offering assistance, support, or compensation, the company chose to deduct charges for the journey to Amritsar as well as the return of the vehicle to Delhi. Despite our condition, they also failed to arrange transportation for us from the hospital to our hotel, forcing us to manage on our own while injured.

This experience made it clear that the company prioritises profit over basic duty of care. Travellers should be aware of their lack of responsibility, inadequate safety standards, and complete disregard for customer welfare.

Reply from Travelogy India Pvt

It appears that you were considering two different company offers simultaneously. After accepting the offer with Travelogy India, you continued to evaluate the other opportunity and began citing personal reasons related to your mother’s health.

You were initially given a joining date, but on the day of joining, you contacted our HR team and requested a one-week extension, citing your mother’s health condition. The same situation repeated the following week, and you again asked for additional time.

Eventually, you joined us; however, within just two days of work, you repeated the same reason regarding your mother’s health. Considering this repeated pattern and lack of commitment, our HR department was left with no option but to terminate your employment. So don't blame to company, you have to improve your commitment towards work .

Fraud company even does not give…

Fraud company even does not give employees salary and blocked there numbers.. I worked there still my salary is pending.. and they blocked my number by owner Mr Santosh. HR is also not picking and replying my calls and massages...
I worked there 9 days in Jan and you gave me less amount @3500 inr . Why ?
It's totally fraud .. every company gave joining letter you said every day we will sent today and tomorrow.. you wasted my 1 month .. suddenly said we can't continue.. so you should have been give me 3 month as a penalty and defaulter... If you are not fraud so give my rest of salary .. why did you cut my salary?
It's means your company is fraud..

A business that priorizes profit over customer experience

I do not recommend this travel agency.

We were deeply disappointed with the quality of the hotels arranged for us. Having paid $115 USD per day for a package that included hotels and a driver, we expected accommodations that matched this price range in terms of cleanliness, quality, and amenities. Unfortunately, the hotels provided fell far short of these expectations.

The first two hotels were particularly substandard, with poor hygiene and facilities. The hotel in Agra, in particular, was unacceptable—it lacked basic amenities such as hot water and did not meet even the most basic standards of comfort.

It is our impression that the arrangements prioritized profit over providing a fair and enjoyable experience for us as your clients. This has left us feeling both let down and unfairly treated.

I used Travelogy India PVT for my family Chardham (Yamonotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath) yatra starting from May 20 th to May 30 th and my experience with this travel agency is given below
# While providing the travel quotation helicopter ride was included, after receiving the token advance the helicopter ride is dropped
# The quotation provided was deluxe rooms, Only hotel names were provided with dates.
# The hotels provided were off not deluxe quality and all the hotels were far away from city centers
# Vehicle driver was informed the itinerary and was not cooperative till the end of tour
# No hotel details were provided for KEDARNATH and had horrifying time in contacting the travel agent for finding the hotel booking without mobile signals
# Over all the facilities provided do not match with tour cost charged

I arranged two tours with Travelogy…

I arranged two tours with Travelogy whilst still in the UK ahead of my trip to India. Communicating with their representatives by email and WhatsApp was easy and quick. They were able tailor trips to meet my requests and dates. Payment by credit card was also easy to arrange. Once in India they were pro-active in contacting me to provide emergency contact details, and driver and pick-up details, and to check that I wasn't experiencing any problems whilst on the trip.
My first trip was a three day Kerala backwaters trip. The driver was prompt in picking us up each day. The stay on the houseboat was excellent; comfortable accommodation, excellent food. The hotel chosen for the second night was also of a good standard and great location.
Later on our second tour with Travelogy was nine days around Rajasthan. For this trip our driver was Surgit Singh. Surgit was always punctual waiting for us at the hotel at the start of every day and again in the evening if we were dining out. On the long journeys he shared lots of information with us about life in India. He also gave useful advice about pitfalls and scams to avoid as independent travellers. It was a pleasure being driven by him throughout the trip. Surgit also picked out decent restaurants for us to eat at for lunch and dinner.
The arrangements by Travelogy were overall satisfactory. The hotels in Ranthambore and Jodhpur were excellent. That in Udaipur was satisfactory. The Ramada hotel in Jaipur should have been good but disappointed. Our guides were also excellent, with the exception of Udaipur, where he engaged less and almost lost us a couple of times.
Overall I would be happy to recommend Travelogy India for an organised trip in India.

Going on a hiking trip with friends was a dream for me which came true because of you guys. Rafan just doesn’t organise treks but also provide it at an affordable price.

We had an amazing time on our trek. Har Ki dun – The Valley of gods is such a beauty the streams flowing by were a treat for the eyes. Camping, trekking and campfire everything was simply perfect. Aahvan Adventures will always be my preference.
