Scammers

Scammers. Charged my mom $399 for a ticket they should have only cost $262 straight from the airline. Will report to BBB regarding this matter. Giving me the run around about who to contact and what time they are available. Ridiculous. I don’t even know how they even landed a spot in a google search for airline tickets for Southwest, which consequently got us in this mess with this scammer company.

Really bad experience

Really bad experience, the executive told me they can beat the price I already got for my ticket purchased from expedia. Told me if I needed that price, I had to cancel the reservation even after I repeatedly ask why that was needed. As soon as I cancelled my reservation they told me they could not honor the price and told me higher price than even expedia. Wasted couple of hours unnecessarily, don't trust this company. All the prices they quoted were more than what I could find, and everytime the executive would ask me what was the price I was getting somewhere else as if he was providing prices based on what I could get somewhere else. Confusing and horrible customer experience.

Give wrong information on call....and charge wrong amount....the agents are very on call and they think they are right and their seniors are also involved with.....some agents make personal calls and ask money for personal needs...they cheated me of $70. And wen asked for call records they just give details of half the call. They have clearly edited the call....as it took them4 days to make me listen to the call....on top of that their supervisor calls back and speaks rudely...

Worst customer service

Worst customer service. Booked flight on Norwegian premium flex 8 months ago and could not get seat assignments until night before. Barely got 2 seats together.
Very weak for $4700 tickets. Will never use again and make sure all my friends are aware of this poor excuse for a travel agency.

Never try this travel agent anytime

Never try this travel agent anytime. one Mr. Ajay Dhawan helped me with booking, which according to him was best deal and the amount he saved me is costing me lot of pain. As I write my family with 2 kids are waiting at Washington DC airport on their way from LA to Bangalore. it's 12:44 AM in EST and they are working United Airlines customer support to get a hotel as their flight was missed due to 2.5 hours delay from LAX and they put them into another flight after long hours of waiting. Next flight is after 17 hours.
I will provide more details later as am in a call with my wife to help them to get into a hotel.

Travel pod are scammers

Travel pod are nothing but scammers, they are the king of bait and switch,I ordered a business class ticket and received a economy ticket for the price of the business class, they claim the difference was a agent fee,4,000 dollars or this is what the airline charged, both lies.Anyone using them is looking for trouble.Stay away...

Buyer Beware!!!!!

Buyer Beware!!!!!
This is a shady company and all of their 5 star reviews are fake. They pretend they are based in the Silicon Valley, a call center made up of all Indians. This is a common theme were the employees are told to say they are in Sunnyvale to make us naive Americans feel more comfortable. Watch what happens once I write this review the next one will be from them using a fake profile giving 5 stars and listing off all of the American sounding names of customer service people they worked with and how great they were. I shouldn’t give their tricks away but anyone who spends a few minutes on this review site can figure it out. Something else to know the Department of Transportation in the US has a law that any tickets for flights going in to or out of the country can be cancelled for a full refund in the first 24hrs as long as it is more than 7 days from your flight. Don’t waste your time trying to get your refund from Travel Pod as it is a shell game and they will try to stall you till the 24 hrs is up. Go directly to the airline call customer service and have them cancel it back to your card. Then find the the 2nd charge on your card for the smaller amount from an unrecognizable company and dispute it with your credit card company. That is Travel Pod’s commission. They don’t care if you cancel your flight with the airlines directly because it is billed thru the airlines so doesn’t affect TP. TP is banking on the fact that you won’t notice their charge or won’t do anything about it. A lot of people are stressed out anyway because of trying to fix all the problems that TP created by making mistakes with the reservations that we will just over look a 91 dollar charge for a 798 dollar ticket and just focus on getting the 707 dollars back from the airlines and how do they make money you ask?...volume :). Also don't get mad or blame their CSR people as they are just doing what they are told and trying to ek out a living in a developing country who knows what we would do or say if feeding our children was on the table. Everyone I spoke with (about 5 people) were very nice including the lady that sold me the ticket and I should have done my due diligence on TP but I needed a last minute ticket to London and they were the first company that came up in my Google search so I figured with their adds being at the top they must be legit. I am not saying that they don't get your tickets but that they say whatever it takes to get you to go with them. For example my ticket was one day later leaving then we agreed on, my seat was in the very back after I said I need to be on the wing or higher up. She said she would try to get me an isle or window seat in the emergency row so I figured if she could not at least I would be in the front row of economy but here is a fun fact unless you book very early you won't get an isle or window because the bulk of those "desired" seats are blocked out till 24 hrs before the flight so that the airlines can charge a premium for them. So always remember to change your seat if you want a more suitable one at the T-24 check in. The 3rd thing that was not accurate and a little more nit picky was that she told me the flight was 10 hrs we're it was closer to 11 1/2. To not get jetlag or 5lbs of flying weight I fast for 16 hrs so 16 hrs - time of flight. So I know when to start my fast not that an extra 90 mins will make me starve but I am just saying if I am paying my hard earned money I want what has been agreed to. So in closing "Dont hate the player hate the game" and use Expedia etc if you use a 3rd party.
