Thousands of dollars for a course, but no basic communication or respect

My experience with Sarah Rosenborg and Wild Community has been extremely disappointing, and I would urge anyone considering spending thousands of dollars on this programme to do their research first.

I listened in to one of Sarah’s conference calls and was subsequently contacted by her so-called partner to arrange a private one-on-one Zoom meeting. The way the programme works is that they interview YOU to decide whether you are a suitable fit for them to consider training, even though you are the one expected to pay thousands of dollars for their programme. I found this approach rather ridiculous.

During the Zoom call in February, I explained that I wanted to focus on building a travel content creation page. Instead of listening to what I was saying, he kept redirecting the conversation to my personal Instagram page, which is actually my work page. He seemed completely disinterested in what I was trying to achieve and came across as dismissive throughout the conversation. I couldn't help feeling that my age might have influenced his attitude, although I cannot say that for certain.

At the end of the call, I was told he would get back to me if we were considered the right fit. I never received a follow-up call, email or even a courtesy message.

I subsequently emailed Sarah directly to explain my experience. Again, absolutely no response.

Fast-forward seven months, and I am suddenly receiving automated text messages at around 5 am, practically every morning, urging me to join Wild Community because there are only a few spots left.

I have repeatedly replied asking them to STOP texting me and have explained that I never received the promised follow-up after the April meeting. Yet the messages continue. It is abundantly clear that nobody is paying attention to the replies, and there appears to be no effective way to communicate with the business or have my request respected.

This is what I find most concerning. If a business is asking people to invest thousands of dollars in its training, surely the bare minimum is professional communication, genuine engagement and respect for potential clients. The repeated sales messages, combined with the complete lack of personal communication, have left me with a very poor impression of how this business operates.

The travel content creation industry is already highly competitive. There are plenty of talented creators out there, and I was looking for guidance on building my own travel page, not to be dismissed during a sales call and then bombarded with automated recruitment messages months later.

My personal experience with Wild Community has left me with serious concerns about its professionalism and sales approach. I would strongly recommend asking plenty of questions, understanding exactly what you are paying for and considering your options carefully before committing thousands of dollars.

For me, the experience has been a huge red flag. If they cannot even respond to an email or stop sending unwanted text messages, why would I trust them with thousands of dollars?
