This has been the worst experience, customer service we have experienced. We took out insurance for our Europe trip, my husband had a fall, suffered a concussion, (bad one), I was on constant phone with Trawick, who eventually told me he was cleared by her company to fly home via Business Class per doctor. We missed original flight, had to book a business in one day which was totally expensive. We were told to book and put in claim for that, transportation and extra hotel night. This was all done according to the way we were told, via text, which I have. We got denied and they only awarded a small amount each. Did not cover the flight, hotel or my flight. Reasoning, we did not have preapproval to book the flight. We did and provided. In reality they said they could book, but since I had already investigated the flight and knew what we wanted and there was one flight left, I should book it. This has been the WORST experience ever. Besides having my husband in the hospital three days, and it wasn't a nice one, and the stress of rebooking and figuring everything out was awful. Funny thing is everyone you spoke to was so nice and reassuring that this was going to be an easy process. Do youself a favor and do not use Trawick.

Always use Trawick for long travel. Only had to use once due to travel delay. Very happy with service.

My mother passed before I was able to travel to see her and when I contacted Trawick regarding my airline ticket refund they were very helpful. The airline, upon my first request for a letter saying I declined travel credits, refused to provide what I needed. I recontacted Trawick's Surego arm and my contact, David H., went over and above to help me. He made a 3-way call between myself, the airlines and himself, and managed to get the airlines to agree to provide a letter for me. When the airline letter didn't materialize I recontacted David H. and he checked my file, reached out to the person handling my case at Surego, and within a relatively short time I received a specific document I needed to notarize. Shortly thereafter, I received notice that my case had been approved. A week later the monies were deposited in my account. Thank you for helping me during an extremely difficult and emotional time.

Claim was processed very quickly, service is nice. Also submitting claim was very easy. Happy for outcome as well.

I called Trawick International's Customer Care and had an excellent experience with Mary Blythe Santander. She was professional, courteous, and efficient. My issue was addressed quickly and resolved without any hassle. I was extremely impressed by how easy and fast the entire process was. Outstanding customer service—kudos to Mary and the Trawick Customer Care team!

When I asked for help with a claim, I got a quick email response. After submitting the claim, I received the approval within a day! After that I received a phone call explaining what to expect in terms of timing for reimbursement. I was very impressed with the whole process.

My wife and I have been frequent travelers, routinely skipping travel insurance. As we age, we thought we should add 3rd-party insurance for a cruise we planned 10 months in advance. We used one of the Trawick International companies rather than the cruise insurance offer. Unfortunately, my wife was diagnosed with terminal cancer, preventing us from taking the cruise together. Trawick's customer service was very helpful, explaining the claim process, providing a convenient online form for submitting proposer information about her health condition, and refunding our travel investment.

6/2026 - Had an expensive horse racing tour set up for Ireland from the US but got Covid four days before I was supposed to leave so had to cancel. Filed a claim online with Trawick. They asked for one form in a different format. Approved and paid in two weeks. Definitely using again.

VERY helpful when my tour was cancelled. Got a full refund! Then I booked new insurance for my follow up tour. Awesome and quick reply to ALL questions.
