Laila blue suites absolutely lovely hotel. The food was great, ice cream at 4 every day. Snackbar was great all day, something for everyone. Very friendly staff and mesut was very helpful and friendly. Definitely would recommend and be back for another holiday.

Impossible people to deal with never answer the phone when they finally do you regret they did awful awful people

When hiring a car abroad be very careful of the well versed scams in order to inflict financial pain on you as you rush back to the airport. I've rented numerous cars in Europe and beyond over many years and I've never had reason to complain, until today...
Green Motion Car & Van Rentals based at Aktion Airport, (Prevza Airport) in Greece charged me 148 Euros to polish some very light 'bush' marks on two doors, which by there own admission 'may have already been there!'
When collecting the car it was still wet from being washed meaning any such marks would never have been identified, the extent of any remedial works would quite literally have been to apply a polish to the two doors and would have taken less than ten mins to remove.
I've worked in the Automotive sector for over 40yrs & this includes currently over seeing a daily rental outlet in the UK so hopefully I have a fair idea of what is and is not a fair charge.....

An awful meal We went for an evening meal Wesat down and our waitress asked if we would like to order a drink which we did .I had a half pint of lager shandy and my friend had a pint of beer.We ofder our meal .My friend had fish and chips and I asked for a kebabeI could not eat mine at all it was burnt black on on side and the chicken was so dry it looked like it had been reheated,my partner had fish and chips and wasn’t happy with with taste of the fish and both agreed that the chips were awaul the had no taste to them I did complain but unfortunately after I had paid the bill and the waitress on the till said she would take the price of my meal of my bill but I had already paid so I don’t know if she did We won’t be going back I feel sorry for any one.if they get a meal like we did

Took down my review from 2010 about the NY Waldorf Astoria not helping me rebook my room or refunding me when snow grounded all uk planes. The reason was the the hotel had a refurb. I am still out c1800. TripAdvisor is a scam website that needs to be audited properly to get rid of its corruption.

Event recorded as “excellent” and 5 star on Google and the header of own website. I took a photo of it as was so incredulous in case Trip Advisor want to see.

As a host I'm trying to cancel my account with Trip Advisor. I follow their instructions as it tells me to press Account Info. There is no Account Info button. So I fall at the second instruction.
I search Account info and the reply is 'unknown'. So I'm left frustrated and the people buying my property to rent out will not be able to do it through Trip Advisor.

For many years I have used Tripadvisor as a useful indicator of how good a hotel/restaurant is, and it has generally been very useful and accurate.

However, trusting Tripadvisor led to a ruined summer holiday for us this year. We booked to stay in a B&B in the Bergerac area and opted for the 'second best' on Tripadvisor, we had already stayed in the 'best', which was wonderful, but they were already booked up so we opted for the next best.

When we arrived, we were shocked to discover the supposedly 'landscaped gardens' had not been touched for at least 2 years, being overgrown and unuseable. Judging from the size of the trees, and state of the property, the photos on Tripadvisor must have been taken a good 8 years ago.

Our room was damp, musty, dirty and poorly furnished. The bed was not even properly made when we arrived. There was no aircon, and the outside temperatures in the late 30s coupled with the damp inside made the heat and humidity intolerable. There was no housekeeping whatsoever for the 11 days we stayed there, the breakfast was limited and without a doubt the worst we have ever had.

Yet all the reviews of Tripadvisor (bar mine) were either excellent or very good. More curious was the fact that, having left a 'Terrible' review, the property went from 'second best' to 'best'.

There have been some negative reviews on Booking.com and Google, but none other than mine on Tripadvisor. After this I can never trust Tripadvisor ever again.

I used Tridadvisor for so long that I have forgotten when it all began and they just removed a comment i made against a post. In fact there were many nasty comments made against the posting (trolls of course) totally typical people trying to wind them up as usual instead of constructive stuff - they all remain on there even the quite nasty one's but my harmless little pun which was a light hearted thing right on topic was removed by saying it was off topic (not at all of course). I decided at this point to remove all my reviews and myself from Tripadvisor for their efforts - your loss TL

The last 2 times we have stayed, (and we have stayed for a few years), have not been the best. We had noisy guests above us walking about like elephants, closing doors really hard, not quiet at all. The bed was hard and the pillows were hard and lumpy, i had to ask for different pillows. There was no hot chocolate, or biscuits, it is not the same as it was a few years ago.

TripAdvisor was a useful resource when it started up. Now, it has - like many websites - become nothing but a machine for making money and advertising.

I looked up the best restaurants in my town according to TripAdvisor. Top of the list was a dreary chain pub, about 10 miles away, that scored a feeble 3.8/5. Why was this the top choice? Looking more closely I saw that it was a "sponsored" entry. In other words, they had paid TripAdvisor to be put near the top of the list. I saw that the ordering of the list was by 'featured'. So I changed the sorting to use the scores. But that had no effect. The same grotty out of town pub still came too of the list! Second on the list was another boring chain pub in a suburb.

TripAdvisor is a complete waste of time. Worse than useless.

Megan and Abbie's welcome on arrival. Definitely a 'more than' experience. Allowing a grumpy guest to unload the woes of the day, while still providing appropriate information. Not an easy skill. Well done, both of you. I got the big bed. Hahaha!
Followed up by a very pleasant surprise when seeing the room. Five star. Air con, clean, quiet. It smelled great!
We stopped using Travelodge because it had become a disappointment. However, this has been a very pleasant surprise.
Only improvement: TV was too small. Very difficult to see the ball for the tennis.
Free parking for 72 hours. Close to amenities. Fantastic area on the mighty Tyne.
Visiting because of Hadrian's wall. Five star.

These reviews often have little value, as they are frequently unfair and do not reflect the actual situation. Individuals hiding behind nicknames damage businesses simply because they don’t get their way.

While we respect that clients may have valid complaints, we cannot accept aggressive language or defamatory statements. Such violent and abusive rhetoric should not be tolerated on this platform.

Yes, I've copied and pasted over from my google review but surely that's the point of "copy and paste" function on your pc?
If you cant recognise genuine reviews then people will surely loose faith in your platform??

Trip advisor can't be trusted as they monitor all reviews and only submit what they want.
I have happily left a few 5 star reviews about pubs that 4 of us use at lunch time and they were published.
But then I tried to submit a 3 star about a pub, stating the staff and food was good but the beer was bad.
This review was deleted and a message came up saying to edit the review.
I did not get a chance to edit a very truthful review, as they deleted all of it and they expected me to start again.
I am cheesed off as the review was very detailed and took me some time to write.
Now anything I read
On trip adviser can't be trusted, so now we only try places that have been recommended by friends.
Its OK if you know local people, but tourists should be able to trust an app like trip advisor.
It makes me wonder if money is changing hands as my review was very honest but was totally deleted by trip advisor.

Warners holidays nice holidays wish they would make it easy to register your card for their holidays they seem to make it difficult for the elderly

I am disgusted that you allow people to slate and complain about small businesses, this can be devastating and can make small business fail, someone has placed a completely false review about my business recently, could you please let me know how I can make a legal redress.

Absolute waste of time, let's people say totally wrong things about business that aren't true. Refuse to take down false reviews that damage a business, unless you sign up to join them.
